Help. I’ve downloaded the war games map pass and all DLC maps but it still says players do not have the recommended downloadable maps. They are there in custom games but never on matchmaking. What do i need to do?

Of course he cant find it and play it in each playlist! I’m having the same issue. I bought the map pass, downloaded the maps, and cant play them in matchmaking. The DLC’s don’t even show up in voting. I’ve played almost a hundred games and haven’t seen the DLC maps I bought a month ago once in matchmaking or voting.
How long has the map pass DLC been out? I only recently bought Halo 4, I’m fairly certain this game has been out for awhile and the map pass DLC has not ran for matchmaking this entire time?

I’ll help out. I don’t know why the recommended DLC content is missing message is showing up if you have every DLC (maybe missing Forge Island?)
What I do know is that EVERYONE in the lobby prior to the game has to have the DLC. If even one player has no DLC, DLC maps will not show up. That’s just the way DLC works.

Cause the majority of the Halo 4 community don’t have the DLC, us minorities do and we’re made to suffer playing stock maps 99% of the time.
Just hope they bring in a DLC only playlist for those DLC achievements the GOTY owners crave.

Your comment has already been answered by Cizlin and MeatSim64. The maps don’t show because everybody in the game lobby NEEDS to have the DLC. If just a single person has no DLC, then none will show as voting option. Unfortunately, the majority of the population doesn’t have the DLC, which makes it much harder to match up with other DLC owners.
Your best bet at this point is to find enough people who own the map pack to get lobby of DLC owners together, then search to see if you play on a DLC map (although even this doesn’t guarantee you will play on them and you may still get shipped maps).
