Where are the new maps in matchmaking? Seriously?
I want to start off saying, I understand the need to consolidate the playlists for population sake. I understand that I still can get all of the maps in matchmaking. However, with the recent changes, I have not seen (and am positive I will not) see any of the three map packs I payed for.
I am strongly against the removal of DLC playlist, but even more so the other playlists in Anniversary. I don’t want to play Anniversary rules; I don’t want to play strictly team slayer. And thats the only Anniversary playlist (no, Firefight doesn’t count, nobody plays that) now. Anniversary lost Objective, now Big Team Anniversary is gone. I have never seen any new maps appear in regular Big Team or Invasion, EVER. I see new maps in Objective once every thirty games (if im lucky). Anyway, I could deal with the limited playing on maps, but removing DLC and Anniv. Big team was the last straw for me, as there is no other way to really touch the other maps.
I can’t be the only one who is frustrated by this. I know Reach is almost dead and 343 is busy with their new game, but its kind of a big slap in the face to the Reach Players who payed for all of the map packs. Theres not enough diversity in the game’s maps, and none of the forge world variants will satisfy with the lackluster thought put into them. I’m not trying to sound entitled, but its annoying paying for something you’ll never get to play.
TL;DR: Bring back some easier way to play the map packs. I feel robbed.
I played just last night and the new maps came up very frequently for me in team slayer. I’ve honestly had no problems with them coming up at all. It may be harder in playlists where there are more players, but they come up often in 4v4.
343 aren’t making any more changes to Reach at the current time. I understand your frustration but kindly post it on one of the many other threads discussing this topic as this stuff isn’t helping, it’s just becoming more and more clutter.

i think you need a full game with the dlc maps packs to get them. and as for the they can’t comment above me, yes they can, they just don’t want too.

I had one other person in my party (split screen) and they came up several times. I think the odds are just better in a 4v4 playlist.
Playlists are consolidated all the time to preserve populations in each hopper. I don’t like it any more than you do, trust me, but it is what it is. I have seen many DLC playlists come and go (H3 to Reach), and I have never seen them come back once dropped. It’s never going to happen. I sympathize with the frustration, but the best thing to do is just to accept it and move on.
i agree, i feel like i bought the maps for nothing… the only ones i get are anniversary and thats only in SWAT
I had a couple DLC matches from playing an hour or so today.

no, screw that. i payed for the maps let me play the maps. that is a giant middle finger to everyone that got bungie’s map packs and we have to wait to play them. no give us the DLC map pack back.

I’m sorry officer, but I disagree. If its something regarding Reach, and something that the fans care about, I think as making many threads reflecting our thoughts is justified.

Officer?! I didn’t realize Spearhead got a promotion!
Making more threads isn’t going to help the cause, it’s just spam at this point. 343 is well aware that people aren’t happy about the update, they don’t need 5 new threads an hour to help them reach that conclusion.
