DLC Map Discussion

Landfall hearkens back to halo 2 style maps. Reminds me of turf with all the cover and the mini base where sniper spawns drool

Daybreak seems like whoever gets the banshee gets a free killing frenzy with all the aerial cover. Otherwise i like the flow / cover. The base doesn’t really function as a base though and the turret is there for detachment.

Monolith should come with a disclaimer: “jetpack required”… with rockets spawning in middle, it normally gets in the hands of whoever has map control = whoever has more jetpacked players. It makes a one-sided match worse.

Skyline has the arena style from old halo’s but the weapon spawning needs adjusted. Everything seems to spawn favoring mid-control. I think sticky det should spawn in each base, shotgun below mid, and maybe a couple saws. The power weaponry is very toned-down and makes ordinance dicerolls make or break.

The pit is a good remake, although the jump height / spring momentum makes the map play different. The addition of the lift where sword spawns was a nice touch.

I LOVE harvest. My buddy and I are warthog fanatics and this map was a dream come true. Shatter comes in a close second and the other one… wreckage was it? Idk that was plain bad.

I probably forgot some. Probably because I never get to play all the maps, but feel free to add input.
