Hey guys,
I’m just wondering if anyone knows if we will be seeing any of the DLC leaders in Awakening the Nightmare? I know it is meant to have new Banished Leaders or whatever, but I’m talking about leaders from the season pass, incorporated similarly to how Colony was in Spearbreaker. Does anyone have any info on this? And also, while we’re at it, does anyone know if we will get to fight the UNSC as the Banished (atleast in one or two missions, I’m hoping)?

As to my knowledge, no one knows any of that except the developers.
I know nothing, but it would be cool to see Colony or YapYap in the camapign (the Arbiter is dead, so we won’t be seeing him). That said, it SOUNDS like the focus is on the new Brute leaders.
Yapyap could be the one who released the Flood with his wild treasure hunt.

I second this… Seems like the Spirit of Fire hasn’t really seen too many losses other than Forge dying and Red Team getting roughed up by Atriox. Really lucky ship compared to some others in the Halo universe

That would quite a pity since Kinsano’s fire theme is really suited against the Flood.

I actually really want to see this, so Kinsano could be included but killed. I’m not sure if I want to see her in the main story line but it would be fun to fight her, maybe after you finish off her mech there’s a cutscene of one of the brutes finishing her off, I’d like her to say something memorable right before the brute kills her.

When was forge roughed up by atriox? He died 28 years earlier in the halo timeline

It would be really cool if you could play as the flood. I had that wish since Halo Wars. I doubt it is going to happen, but it would be pretty cool to see a flood leader, like a Gravemind or something

Isn’t happening anytime soon, but we can hope so in the future!
All I know is that its two brute lieutenants. As for who we fight the flood is a dead cert. Id be surprised if we don’t fight the UNSC.

I corrected you for thinking forge was beaten up by atriox.It’s not a game I was just letting you know
As it is said there will be 5 missions i think we will see Colony,Kinsano and Yap Yap in it since they are Canon and present on the Ark.The reason i believe so is because Flood are not gonna have many units imo.and no bases and they wont speak.So they will just rush you and you have to defend and that would be boring to have them do in all 5 missions.My predictions are:First mission we play as Colony vs Flood and at the end of the mission Colony dies so we see how strong Flood is also it would make interesting new Hunters infected Flood units.Then we get introduced to 2 new Brutes leaders and play with them in the remaining 4 missions where there will be a fight against deserter Yap Yap and Kinsano at some point.I think the fight against Flood will be the most in first and last missions and in between they will be more passive enemies like Sentinels in some missions before in fights between Unsc and Banished.

We’ve never seen Hunters infected by the Flood because they can’t be infected. The Flood need a central nervous system to take control of, which Hunters don’t have being an amalgamate of small worms.

I honestly don’t think we’ll be fighting against the UNSC in ATN. Halo has always worked around actually fighting UNSC while playing as enemy factions (the Arbiter in Halo 2) so I think that this expansion will be solely fighting the Flood. It could be a cool first for the Halo series that 343 could add in, but I honestly think this will be exclusively a Banished vs Flood expansion.

Yes, I’m up for this, I’ll also point out that sans Kinsano and Jerome, every other leader that appears as hero unit is dead, so, I wouldn’t mind add Jerome to the kill list too.
