We all want a new DLC for Halo 5 but 343 are busy making the new leaders for Halo Wars 2, for that i think that we need to give ideas to 343 so that they can give us the DLC.
(sorry my english, i’m mexican)
I’m sure they’ve got loads of ideas still, but with Halo 5’s pretty massive file size at this point, what more they can do is probably limited.
So there’s my idea: An optimization patch that compresses the yoink out of whatever they can. That June Hotfix could not have been that large for how small the patch notes were. An aiming fix and a few glitches allegedly patched, and its well over a gb in size? Unless they sneakily slipped in some new assets in preparation for an upcoming patch, I don’t see how that’s possible.
As for content though, I really just want to be able to see weapon attachments on the exotic scopes - Hybrid, CoG, Morph - and be able to put things like Threat Marker onto the Longshot and Sentinel scopes. Having it limited exclusively to the default is a bit disappointing. I’d also like to see that menu be tidied up a bit - like select your weapon, then the scope, then the attachment - rather than every weapon/scope/attachment combo being its own unique weapon. In Forge/mechanics terms, there’d be a base weapon and then two “confgiration slots” that’d determine what scope and attachment it’s using. Thus, stuff gets simplified, and the Forge weapon menu isn’t as cluttered.

This is something I’ve been asking for since I started playing Halo 5. It would have been really nice if they had streamlined the loadout system, and also didn’t make it so every other silver pack during my grind was some dumb loadout combination that I’ll never use. Honestly they should just all be unlocked from the start.

Would have been cool if you could attach them in a menu screen too honestly. Maybe next time around.

Yes, as long as it’s not laggy like the current req menu

I would like there to be propper weapon customisation (for non-competitive game types) but I am aware that if Halo adds just one more element that is typically found in a CoD game then a rabid drove of fans will set themselves alight in the street.

For what exactly, Warzone, right?

Yeah it’d be a Warzone thing mostly, so when you open up the SMG/BR/whatever window you don’t have to scroll through a long list to find the combo you want, and the Hybrid/CoG/Morph scopes would be able to take advantage of Laser Targeter, Stabiliztion Jets, etc - as well as Threat Marker not being exclusive to the base weapon scope. However the other part of the change would affect Forge too - so instead of having a dozen or so individual SMG ____ things to scroll through, you’d have just ONE and you’d place that and then pop open its properties and select the scope/attachment. Weapons would default to standard scope w/ no attachment when placed.

Gotcha. Just wanted to make sure that this wasn’t meant for Ranked or Social because then we would be having a Halo 4 crisis all over again.
Well it is extremely unlikely that another dlc is coming to halo 5, but it would be really sweet if they put in a firefight mode that was unlimited rounds tied to a limited amount of respawns.
Brute Stuff. Brute Shot, Mauler, Spiker, Spiker Grenade, etc.
Lots of Halo Wars 2 crossover stuff. I hated the voice packs they gave us. I’d like Jerome-092 or Sgt. Johnson or Yapyap The Destroyer or Isobel or Cutter.
Killer Instinct Stuff. Arbiter is in KI. Add a Jago armor set like there was for Halo 3. Add a Fulgore armor set. The Arbiter and his Stage and Music are excellent in KI. Show some acknowledgement.

God yes. Everything is everywhere. Has to be an easier way…
