I think it goes with out saying that we need core game modes back. I can’t even describe the feeling when I loaded up the game only to discover that grifball, oddball, and infection were no where in sight. I felt as though 1/3 of Halo 5 was scraped, never to be seen again. Don’t even get me started on Regicide and King of the Hill. Trust me when I say that it was nice for 343 to take the initiative and organize the menu screen, but cutting core game modes is unacceptable. Anyway, feel free to talk about cut content frustrations or wishes for future DLC.
Yeah, they need to bring those modes back. Really, really need them back. One of the main problems with Halo 5 is that they focused too heavily on the competitive players when they made this game, intending to make it a viable pick up for esports again - unfortunately, they kind of abandoned their much larger casual audience in the process, and we’re feeling the brunt of it now the week or two after launch. Map selection is poor, most of them just being Forge variants, and by my count there’s maybe a grand total of 6 gametypes, more than half of them just different versions of Slayer. Likewise hoping for Mark V with Shadow and Light, but given 343i’s current track record I’m kind of doubting it - they’d stated in an interview that both Mark VI and Mark V armors would be ingame at launch, but that obviously didn’t happen.
I’m thinking/hoping that the update with forge will bring additional gametypes…

How about Forge, the old emblem system, and better Multiplayer for a start.

What launch issues? That would have been the servers, which would have happened regardless of how many game odes were out there. At this point, there is no reason to delay the other game modes, other than 343 wanting to force warzone on everyone… I agree that we need the core game modes again though. I am tired of the current playlists already… I have fun, but can’t have a marathon gaming session like I could on the previous Halos…
It’s to the point where 343 can’t ignore this. Everyone wants these game modes back, they need to provide us with an update on how that’s going

Well, they have told the community too bad several times before…so they just might do that again

i like the warzone, but fighting lots of enemys in valhalla has been my most dear memory of every halo
