Hello there, you the Halo community. I was hoping someone could help me get my head around the absolute mess that is the DLC integration in Halo 4 matchmaking.
I own all the DLC bar the Castle map pack and can I find a game which incorporates ANY of the maps I have paid extra for… can I fudge!!!.
I can’t see how 343i is finding it so difficult to get the map rotation sorted ( a simple server browser would help for a start).
As a 32 year old father who is trying to get his son into the Halo series (because it’s bloody awesome and lets face it we all love Halo) and another baby on the way my time and more importantly MONEY are very precious, so when I spend an extra £20 on a game I expect to at least feel that I am getting my moneys worth out of it and not as I am feeling now like I am being bent over and given the finger by 343i and the big M.
Surely an admin or someone can get in contact with 343i and really raise this issue as there is no real way to contact them. I’ve been reading lot’s of negative posts lately and it really is no wonder.
Please remember 343i other multiplayer FPS are available, so maybe I will just take my money elsewhere. I adore all the Halo games and do not want to have to abandon ship with the mess that has been made with Halo 4.
Let me know if you too are feeling left out in the cold by 343i, and get posting, eventually someone will have to listen.
Welcome BlueMeanie to the forum. We get a different topic on DLC integration every day and I agree with everyone single one that gets started.
343 are not supporting their own in game content. They have made some spectacular maps and we as gamers cannot play on them. Let’s not forget all those achievements we may have missed or still need.
We have 11 maps on DLC, 11 of which we cannot access right now without some dedicated DLC playlist, like BTB DLC which incorporates them all.
It’s the hardcore fans like us, that buy all the DLC, the skins, the GOTY content the consoles, 2EXP codes, the books, the figures and all the other merchandise.
We are lifelong fans that dedicate huge parts of our income to supporting Halo, we will support the franchise long after the next flavour of the moment. We also encouraging all our friends on our friends list to play. It is however pretty hard to this when 11 of the maps are inaccessible.
343 can fix this issue very quickly and simply and the fact we get such a huge influx from fans requesting this, shows they need to acknowledge this very soon, even with just a post or a bulletin to appease this community and we can then respond to posts like these, saying ‘coming in such such month and time’.
