DLC Concerns

Hello gamers and 343i
I haven’t posted in a halo forum for years, and I know this topic has more than likely been discussed. I’m just looking to voice my opinion about a problem Halo 4 seems to have inherited from Halo:Reach.

I bought all the dlc for Reach, and for every halo game for that matter. In Reach, outside of a very short-lived dlc playlist, the new maps I paid money for never saw the light of day. I see that Halo 4 has the same problem.

Bungie always said they were “working” on it or that the issue was fixed, but nothing ever changed. I’m hoping you actually have a solution to this problem 343i. I’ll probably play Halo until the day I day, but after the way dlc has been handled with the past couple games now,I’d be pretty hesitant to buy dlc maps anymore.

This isn’t angry rant, but I thought you should hear it from an adult consumer who’s been enjoying this series since Halo:CE when I was about 16. Some of my friends won’t buy the dlc for this very reason, and I feel a little silly for buying it.

Hope you guys are actually close to a solution for this and not just “working” on it. You guys did awesome work with the dlc and I’d just like to play what I paid for. Still love Halo 4 regardless: )

p.s. What ever happened to the map Harvest? I forgot it even existed until today. Only remember playing it once in Nov.of 2012. Haven’t seen it since.

Tipper,

There has been so many with this same ax to grind. 343i, like Bungie, have pissed away so much potential revenue because they think we are stupid and have only short term memory. I personally will never buy DLC ever again unless 343i publicly addresses this issue and announces a good solution going forward. Their silence has been defining.

On that note, the only solution we have available is to start a gamer community group or a gamer clan that only plays DLC content. I wish someone would step up and lead the way on this one because 343i obviously wants us to develop amnesia and stop bringing it up.

That said, thanks for being another individual that voiced their disapproval of 343i’s DLC policy.

To 343i I say:

The ball is in your court… not that you give a damn.

Well Guys,

WE DID IT! They said it couldn’t be done and 343i proved them wrong. DLC playlists are in the rotation. I want to thank everyone for stepping up and making your voices heard.

I really, really hope that they keep releasing rotations because I’m really looking forward to some of the playlists beside DLC like that Ninja Assassins.

Thanks 343i.
