I don’t post here much, and I’m not here to rant. I’m more here to say that I’m a little upset about how I spent $40 extra at the time of purchase for the Halo 4 collector’s edition. I assume $25ish went to the war games map pass.
The problem is, I can’t even play 2/3rds of the DLC I bought because we only get 1 playlist at a time (Crimson, Majestic, Castle). I’ve been wanting to play some Castle DLC since I went on a vacation at the time of release and by the time I got back, it was already taken down.
Why did I spend 25 bucks for maps I can’t even play in matchmaking?
Can’t we just get a playlist with all the DLC at once? 5v5/6v6 would be just the right amount of people to work on just about every map.

5v5 or 6v6 seems a bit hectic for Skyline, I wouldn’t mind seeing all the DLC playlists at once
I think 5v5 WOULD work on it. However hectic it may be.
Technically the DLC is available in the majority of playlists. You’re just not getting matched up with people who have it, since many people do not have it or just plain don’t want it.
It’s mind boggling how there is nothing like this in place. It feels so obvious to me… glad I’m not the only one.
There’s a DLC playlist you can play in. The map pack it uses rotates periodically.

With XB1 having servers they may be able to do this in halo 5
I think they should do the following.
Update the following DLC Playlist on a bi-weekly basis:
Majestic Team DLC(4 VS 4)
Squad DLC(6 VS 6 Crimson and/or Castle)
Instead of what they are doing every month, it’ll be Small DLC maps for 2 weeks, then the 6 bigger ones, then back to Majestic, and so on so forth.
And of course when the Champions Bundle does come out after it’s 1-2 week(s) of being the special featured playlist, it should join the Team DLC(4 VS 4 Majestic and/or Champions, or maybe a better name).
