Ok, so i am VERY upset that the CQB helmet isnt in halo 4 and i was thinking maybe there will be armor in the DLC’s. Do you think there will be armor in the DLC’s in halo 4? Also, what armor would you want to be in the halo 4 DLC’s

Juns-the scout helmet is in the game but it is the halo 3 version

Would LOVE for some classics to come back. There are a lot of new styles showcasing in H4, but not so many classics. I realize that this is an entirely new armor system, but it would be awesome if there were more options available. I think DLC armor would be amazing! I was half-expecting that to happen in Reach. There is such a large gap of time where you have so much money that you can never spend after purchasing everything already.
I think if they included new armor sets/pieces in the future DLC, a lot more people will buy them. Especially if the new armor was mixed in evenly throughout the ranks so that you don’t have to be max level to get them all if you get the DLC.

I’d like the idea of including them (at no extra cost) with the map packs, but I seriously hope they don’t start releasing armor packs and weapon skin packs ala GoW 3 I’d lose all respect for 343.

Makes total sense, it would be impossible for 343 to code extra armor into the game, and unlock it along with whatever DLC they decide to release later on. That would be like coding an extra campaign mission into the game and releasing it as a launch day DLC. Which is, of course, also impossible.

Because DLC campaign missions have never existed before and 343I is so near-sighted that they would leave the game unchangeable…

I really miss Mark V and Reach Operator…
As long as the armor in said pack has some concept art armor from Halo CE and Halo 2.
I miss my hayabusa armor and katana from Halo 3…
