The only thing we have to go off of is a tweet from 343 saying the game will still receive support after the WZ FF update. I wish they were more transparent in their DLC plans after WZ FF update. I have no clue what is going to happen to this game after this update. What is going to be the plan for H5 in year 2?

As far as I know they’ve pledged, “Support” after WZFF. That doesn’t necessarily mean there will be more updates. It could just mean they won’t be shutting the servers down. I would like to know if there will be more updates myself.

Exactly, what does “support” actually mean. Game isn’t even a year old yet. Too early for it to die out.
guys ur overreacting…relax, like people mentionned, the game is barely a year old and halo 6 probably wont come out till after the scorpio release, so there will be updates and stuff, just not sure how.
Lets all be patient and wait for wzff first and enjoy that for a while
I always thought it meant that they would continue to patch bugs and throw in weekend playlists. I wouldn’t expect any new content.

That map is presumably coming with the Warzone Firefight update.

Halo 6 won’t be till the end of 2017 at the earliest…

End of 2018* Halo always has a 3 year development cycle for its main games. We’re not going to see Halo 6 until the end of 2018, thankfully. Hopefully later though, so it can be better.

Halo 5 had 3 years of development time and 343 needs more time to finish. If we counted post launch updates a part of development time, it’s almost 4 years of development time and we still have nothing what we demanded. They should start or should have been start working by now unless they want to make another excuse “not enough time” for Halo 6 and make us wait another months to complete the game.

Where did 343 ever say “not enough time”. As far as we know, as I’ve seen nothing to the contrary from 343i they delivered on Halo 5. (That’s not my opinion though)
