I’m sorry 343 but almost all of your dlc achievements are terrible. Barely any require any time or skill to earn them and almost every one of them just depends on luck and can be achieved in one game. Two of the worst achievements so far are “get a kill while airborne in a warthog” and “get a double kill with one pulse grenade.”.
In my opinion. the only good dlc achievements for halo 4 were “kill 20 people with the mantis stomp” and “kill 20 people with unmounted turrets”. This is because it actually took time to earn these, it didn’t just depend on getting a lucky kill in a single game. I feel like good achievements would be something like “get 10 kills with an auto sentry”, “get a double kill with one grenade 10 times”, or “complete any loadout/ ordnance mastery commendation”. A great example of a game series with good achievements is Gears of War. I’m not saying that halo needs its own “seriously…” but it would be nice to have achievements that are fun but also aren’t earned by a single moment of good luck.
If you choose not to take those suggestions then please, at the very least, let us earn these achievements outside of just the dlc maps

The maps are in general MM so they are still achievable.

If you check out the Halo 4 Intel - Playlists page it tells you which playlists the Crimson maps are on.
I’m sorry they’ve removed the Crimson DLC playlist, they really should have kept it in for people trying to get those achievements.
You’re basically going to have to hope that:
Everyone in the matchmade lobby has Crimson DLC
A Crimson map appears in the list of choices (it should do if they have Crimson)
People vote for a Crimson map instead of Exile

the only one I had trouble with was the Flash of Light one. But luckily I was playing with my friend in Majestic FFA. I stalked him and distracted him by chatting with him over the mic. When he got in a pummel fight, I took advantage of the situation!
See what was getting me is it says “In crimson DLC MatchMaking”.
I knew they was in surculation in general MatchMaking but what I did’nt know is it wasnt playlist specific. There still obtainable.

It’s BR, DMR and Magnums so someone is bound to be zooming. Moreover, no radar, so its super easy to get assassinations.
