So I’ve been playing on BTB and Infinity Slayer. I’ve gotten to play on Skyline and Shattered so far. So I thought, maybe I’ll get an achievement for DLC if I do it on a DLC map. I did the achievement where it’s like 4 saw kills without dying. I was kinda pissed I didn’t get the achievement. I’m basically saying, if we play on a DLC map we should be able to get the DLC achievements. Anyone agree?

Some achievements are tied to specific maps/map packs. You can only get them on those maps, or on forge island based maps.

on forge island you cant complete dlc achievements.
maybe they are achievements that can but not all.

good news is that you can complete the castle Majestic and the Champions Bundle achievements easy on Infinity Slayer play list now.
for the crimsom achievements can only be complete on 2 big maps but its more a 0,0000000000000000001% chance you play on a crimsom dlc map in big team battle map.
thats the bad news.
I would say it’s a known issue, but I don’t think 343i has acknowledged it yet. Lots of people are reporting problems with unlocking Crimson, Majestic, and Castle DLC Achievements since the Aug. 19 TU. As far as I know, there’s no workaround.
Makes me glad I made sure to get the Achievements during the times that the DLC playlists were still around

Stop exaggerating the chances of the maps appearing. I played BTB and got both Wreckage and shatter in the space of 10 games. That makes a 1 in 5 or 20% chance in the games I played. Thats way more than the over the top, completely false chance you claim. Just because YOU don’t get the maps doesn’t mean others don’t get them semi-regularly.
