I was playing a game of MLG where I returned two flags and got the “Return to Sender” achievement, despite it stating that it is a Defiant Map-Pack Achievement. I have not purchased either of the map packs and this is not the first time I have returned two flags, it it however the first time since the TU download. I was just wondering if this was a glitch or if 343 decided to allow these DLC Achievements to be unlockable without purchasing the map packs. Sorry if this has already been answered elsewhere.
Yes, it seems like that you can now get Noble and Defiant achievements even if you have neither of the map packs.
You’re not the first one to post about this. Really looks like you can now get the achievements and thus 100% gamerscore even though you don’t own any of the DLC. You lucky yoinks.

Like I know Defiant’s always been able to do in customs and noble wasn’t, with this change can you get noble’s in customs now too?

Most likely not, if anything they would be making it so you can’t get Defiant in Customs, it was a mistake, adding another mistake instead of fixing another is a silly idea.
I think so because my friend doesn’t have the map-packs but got the double kill with the shotgun achivement yesterday

That isn’t required on a map from Noble or Defiant, it has been able to earn on ANY Map since release.

Maybe I wasn’t clear, I was asking because of this glitch are the Noble ones able to be done in customs like the Defiant?

You can’t 100% GS without the Noble Map Pack as one of the achivements (You Blew It Up!) requires it to be done on Breakpoint which you still need the map packs to access.
