i get really dizzy while playing Halo Inifnite for some reason. it happens to me in some other games (CoD Cold War, Valorant) but i could play halo 3 just fine on pc. what could be the reason it happens in Infinite and not on H3? it would suck to not be able to continue to play my favorite franchise i’ve been playing since i was a kid
I’m on Series X, but I know the friend or foe system instead of Red vs Blue really strained my eyes, especially at long range. They need to add a red vs blue option if they truly care about accessibility for all.

Well there are two possibilities: (A) faster paced games that include sprinting mechanics and such give you dizzyness (my mom has this problem so she can’t even watch em), or the less likely but preferable option (B) your brain cannot handle the epic awesomeness of Halo Infinite’s gameplay and needs time to process the wave of fun.
Its probably similar to the first but personally I hope its the second.
Does the console version have an FOV slider? If your FOV is too low it could give your brain the sensation that you’re constantly “zoomed in”
Sounds like you may be experiencing a form of motion sickness, I know a girl that can’t play most FPS games as a result of it. She plays a lot of Apex as says that doesn’t affect her at all.

i dont think its fast paced games as i can play modern warfare on max sense with no issue but not Black ops for some reason. halo infinite does look good but i could only play 2 games before i have to put it down.

Wow. So now people have health problems playing a game that isn’t Halo3? Why dont you just go play Halo 3 then and hug your BR and binky?

No need to be rude matey. It’s a real thing that people suffer from.
Maybe there are settings that people can suggest that will help this person play in comfort. Think about what you’re putting out into the world.

FOV doesnt matter because just watching some streamers play on pc triggers it. i do notice the games that trigger dizziness for me seem to have like a clearer focus towards the center of the screen and the sides are less focused idk if i explained that well.

Ok Mr white knight. You are the voice of reason around here. Besides I wasn’t being rude…you’re just being soft.

How rude of you to assume this was the problem. How about not assuming someone’s likes and dislikes before saying something? Extremely rude.

Yeah, my mom will actually throw up even seeing something on a screen similar to a videogame, she was miserable during movies like The Lego Movie and can’t handle videogames themselves unless they are in SUPER low definition, like Pixel definition.
I know it can happen, so try to respect people’s issues please.

You need to respect my opinion. And stop attacking me personally.

Well I respect everyone’s opinion as long as it isn’t attacking the opinion of others, the problem is that implying that a person is a (A) a baby, (B) incapable of enjoying new games, (C) their issues are fake, and (D) even if they did have issues that you clearly don’t care, are all things that I don’t like to stand by and watch.
I’m not attacking you personally, I’m just telling you that it’s not advisable to slander people for issues that they cannot change.
We’re all Halo fans here and we gotta stick together, not engage in a civil war, if we did that then the Covenant would wipe us out.

Never said he was a baby or any of that. Learn to read context and stop being such a white knight.

regardless, telling someone whos asking other players a question regarding an issue playing a game to go play another game and hug their binky isn’t cool.

Learn context buddy. If your feelings were hurt that’s your problem.

Now I may be wrong but the words:
>
Don’t exactly say: “I’m sorry for your medical issues and I hope that its only temporary.”
Look, I don’t have any problem with you personally unless you keep disregarding other people’s issues, a person had a medical problem and you promptly disregarded it, I do not take kindly to people who don’t treat others as they should.
On a side note, I’m getting to quite like the label “White Knight”, I gotta use that since my Spartan is always coincidentally white. So thanks for that!
