Its been eight months since a trailer, I figured we’d see one at the Super Bowl, because the Super Bowl is the perfect place for anyone to advertise their product.
So if there’s not gonna be one now, when would you all say we’d see some actual Halo XB1 footage?

Why do you have to be negative about this, a new halo game is coming out on nex gen how can this be bad, think positive

How about if the game is ANYTHING at all like Halo 4? That’s how it could be bad.
343 fooled me once. I believed all their lies about Halo 4 being a true Halo game and going back to the Halo roots. I wanted to believe it was true. I was too hyped up to realize at the time how bad 343’s changes would be. When I finally played Halo 4… major disappointment. You can’t fool me again 343. I have ZERO hype for Halo 5, and that won’t change until they can prove that they are making a real Halo game.
Why would you expect a “Halo” commercial during the Super Bowl? It’s ALWAYS car, movie, and Budweiser commercials. I don’t understand the anxiety about there not being another trailer for whatever is coming out this year. There’s still at least 9 months until an assumed release date. We have never gotten a trailer THAT early. If something doesn’t rear it’s head next month at GDC, then we’ll get something at E3.

Well actually, I watched it on TV during it’s original air, which I could have sworn was in January. I was under the impression football super bowls are at the beginning of the year.
But whatever, I was wrong. Dont care for football and it was still seven years ago.
However that doesn’t deter the point that the super bowl would be perfect to air a Halo trailer.

No, I remember that. But if I recall correctly, we were told in advance that there would be a Halo 3 trailer at the Super Bowl that year. There was no hint or any sort of confirmation that a trailer would appear at this year’s game, so I don’t see why anybody was expecting one.

Not only that, but Bungie had already given us a first-look at Halo 3 at E3 2006. The football commercial was ad an for a product that had already been revealed. We don’t even know what Halo Xbox One is and a TV ad is not an appropriate place for such a reveal. We won’t see anything until Microsoft’s Spring Showcase, E3, or some special custom event.
