Game has to be bugged or the developers are even more incompetent than expected. Got up to a Running Riot in Tac Slayer and it still only counted as one ‘distinct’ spree. Those are three separate sprees. Game makes me want to spit its so pathetic.

A while ago it used to just say ‘three killing sprees’ but people complained that the killing frenzy and running riot medals (which require additional 5 kill sprees) weren’t counting.
So 343 had 2 options:

Fix the challenge so frenzy and riot added to the spree tally

Leave it broken but add the word ‘distinct’ to the description. This requires you to purposely die after the killing spree in order to start a new separate (distinct) one
Unfortunately they chose option 2

Those are not 3 separate sprees, since you can’t get the running riot if you didn’t get the killing spree and killing frenzy first.
Distinct means it has to be a completely new spree, so you start at 0 again (meaning you have to be killing after your last spree). So it’s working perfectly.
It’s badly designed though. “distinct” shouldn’t be a requirement
Perfectly stupid. This game punished performing well and encourages to bolster the enemy team with kills… no wonder this game is dying. Trash systems.
Yep. One system rewards you for getting 15 kills without dying, the other rewards you for getting 15 kills, but dying twice in the process.
