I think this means it only counts the killing spree medal (5 kills) and does not increment the challenge again if you go on to get a killing frenzy etc. in the same life
You’d need to die first and then get a separate killing spree again

Edit: can confirm a frenzy does not count as a second spree towards the 2/4 distinct killing spree challenges, you’ll need to let the enemy kill you to start a new spree, what garbage
This is different to mcc where a killing frenzy counts as another spree

You need to just get 1 killing spree.
Apparently it was worded that way to try and convey that you needed to get a ‘Killing Spree’, not a ‘Running Riot’ or ‘Killing Frenzy’. However because you only need 1, it makes it even more confusing.
Just get 5 kills in a row and it’s done.

I have two remaining challenges before activating the ultimate:
Get 2 distinct killing sprees
Get 4 distinct killing sprees
So they have versions of it where you need to get more than one
I can confirm that a killing frenzy does not count as a second one towards the 2/4 distinct killing spree challenges.
Basically I should have let them kill me in order to reset the spree, what garbage

That’s absurd. Who greenlit this challenge? “Hey, do good, but not too good! Also do it four times!”

Especially since the difficulty is the same either way. Getting 5 kills twice is just has hard as getting 10 kills once.
