campaign mode is dull and the same, push the button run arounds, you don’t really have any vested interest in succeeding for the character you play as. this game is the greatest failure in the history of video games, 9.5 on IGN? they are no longer a viable source for game reviews. the weapons are weak, the enemy AI does not exist, not once do they try to corner you or attack you, they just stand whereever they were spawned, and they let you shoot them. so many holes, and everyone is gonna jump on here and say its cause i can’t shoot or i suck, thats why i am writing this. fact is, everyone will bend over backwards to stick up for the game cause they paid $60 for it, and thats the shame. we all lost our money, once we move past that fact we can have adult discussions about the many many failures of this game. everyone keeps talking about the sound being epic??? epic failure, i have a bose surround, and it sounds like junk, weak electronica sounds, the guns used to have an audible PUNCH when shot, these guns just feel weak and have no pop, just like the jet pack, its like you don’t even have one on. man this sucks
i know deep down people are starting to feel as though this game is just another game, tarnished the halo name by putting it on the box. this is a step back, and spartan ops will fail, its weak, the characters do not grab you, you have no desire to play hard to succeed for your character. is dissappointing, the weapons have also taken a step back. i cannot believe that they could screw this up that bad, there wasn’t one good firefight in the whole campaign. in past halo’s, the covenant would be dug in deep and levels would take a great deal of strategy to defeat, in this game the enemies are brainless, they just stay in one spot and are simple to kill. do you think 343 is just a step down compared to bungie’s design or what? i mean how can they make this campaign so uninteresting. go play assasins creed 3 or borderlands 2, say what you wan’t about the gameplay, at least the story pulls you in, halo 4 tried to just spit you out.
Yes I am disappointed about Legendary but no I did not pay $60 for it. I went with Newegg, sacrificing preorder bonuses for a discount. So I’m really somewhat insured if I end up disappointed (still waiting for my game to arrive. It should arrive within 12 hours).
This user is a troll plain and simple. I looked at all his post and he does nothing but make complaint threads. Also the one guy that agreed with him I think he just made an alt. account because it only has one post.
I agree with one side of the argument, that the weapons feel inadequate. Nothing feels like it is capable of killing anyone. 4 headshots with a beam rifle to bring down a gold elite on legendary? come on.
I played through on normal to get past spoilering myself and am playing through legendary now.
there isn’t enough ammo on the map to bring down the knights. I don’t get it. maybe I’m attacking them wrong, but holy crap.
I’ve beaten all the halos on legendary. No sweat. Halo 4 is terribly underpowered on higher difficulty.
Thank you for your opinion, no one cares. No leave the forums and go back to CoD where you belong. Me along with many other will be enjoying this new game and not complaining about it after DAY 1! people like you… facepalm
