…Of the medal system, or what ever it’s called. I’m a Halo fan, and i’m so sad that i couldn’t access Xbox Live until a few months after Reach’s Release. That’s why i’m trying to play a lot, maybe that way i can play stuff i’d never be able to before.
What drives me mad, now, is that there is some kind of bug/Glitch on Reach and Halo 3 (Not sure if happens with someone or something else), that for some reason is not letting me get Medals as Exterminations, i could have like 35 Exterminations by now, but each time i kill an entire team (Yes, they don’t respawn or anything), i get the overkill, but i never get the extermination. It always happens to me on Reach, and today it happened again on Halo 3, which actually ruined my chances of getting one of the 19 achievements i need to complete all of the Halo 3 ones.
I don’t want to be the guy who argues about the game not being fair, i’m just pointing this out because the Halo 3 Achievements are quite based on a “Skill-Luck” basis, i’m sure most experienced players know this. So, when you get an Overkill on a 4v4 Match, and it’s 100% Obvious that the entire team was killed by you and you even got an Overkill, what’s the reason for not having an Extermination??

Here, i actually missed the chance of getting a Perfection since the other two players were doing nothing and the entire team overwhelmed me. it’s all on that link.
So, story goes like this: i just need 4 more kills, my only partner (since the other 2 left) is just walking around the base, and i’m next to a destroyed chopper with a bubble shield, i almost die, but i manage to kill the entire team by throwing a grenade and use the AR/melee combo to kill them all, i get the Overkill, game ends. No extermination.
So, i actually had to play by myself, the guy just got 4 kills, and i got 45. Is it really fair that after so much effort put into that game, and after the Luck i had for not getting killed down there, i didn’t deserved at least the medal? Right now, all of the Achievements i need require that: Luck and a bit of Skill, but it’s more based on luck. So, do i now have to play the entire day, hoping to get the requirements and PRAYING for the System to recognize what did i just do to give me the medal, and get rid of those achievements??
Worst thing is that i’m not the only one with this problem, a lot of people like Halo, but what’s the point on doing achievements that will only pop-up if the System doesn’t get limited?
