I’m dissapointed with what 343 have done with the Time-Line and story.
Why did they have to make only 5 years after Halo 3?! Why couldn’t it be 100 years? THEN we’d see noticeable change within the Lore and technology and the Halo-verse, THEN it’d be a new trilogy. But no, things are near-exact as Halo 3. Sorry for my complaining folks.

Ya, I have thought about how the power lasted five whole years. Good point

They might use a small fusion reactor(less likely) or a Hydrogen system for power built into it.
Keep in mind that ONI found Onyx along with a cache of Forerunner tech and friendly Huragok. It’s entirely plausible that tech would jump in just a few years. Hence the Infinity: chock full of shiny new Forerunner gadgets. Sounds like a noticeable change to me.
6 years is plenty of time for alot to happen. In the last six years, we advanced from Halo 3 to Halo 4 (look at the technological difference). Cell Phones reached their peak of popularity, we’ve seen the invention and upgrades of Tablets. And we landed a f**kin rover on Mars.
What you have to understand is that the UNSC didn’t magically invent any of this over the last 6 years. They actually were working on it in the background throughout the entire series, the entire Human/Covenant war even.
I’v seen many whiners on this forum, but you sir… You win the award for the worst possible reason to whine about Halo 4.
You’re not one of the minority.
You’re alone.
Over 10 million people disagree with you.
No one agrees with you.
