I wanted to make this thread and poll to see everyone’s weapon they would’ve liked to see in Halo 4 and are disappointed that it is not. I know there are a few that i wouldn’t liked to see in it but they aren’t, though the new Promethean weapons make up for it.

Would liked to have seen the SMG make a return… but the Suppressor seems fill that niche.
The Grenade Launcher is probably going to be my most missed weapon.
Not sure how I’ll like the Sticky Detonator, or if it’ll make up for the absense of the GL. I’ll have to see.

Grenade launcher, it really was a pro pipe its very hard to use and so satisfying to get kills with, especially multi kills. Waisted potential.

There wasn’t an option for Plasma Repeater, so I just chose Plasma Rifle.
Honestly, I won’t really miss any of the weapons in your poll. I’ll only miss the Plasma Repeater because it was fun to troll people with.
Plasma rifle…the damn thing saved my -Yoink- so many times on PC/custom edition…and halo 2.
Oh and the Sentinal beam is in Halo 4.
Brute Shot and Spike Nade. I still miss the meat splat noise the spike nade makes… 
Plasma Rifle. It’s been in every single Halo game, it’s iconic and it’s great looking. We get a Storm Rifle that looks ugly, like a rejected Carbine concept, in its place. All they had to do was change the Plasma Rifle’s gameplay characteristics, like they do with all Halo weapons in new games, and it would have been totally fine.
Why do we get the Concussion Rifle back when the Plasma Rifle doesn’t make the cut? Everything is backwards. A weapon that none of us care about makes it into H4 and yet a weapon that is iconic of Halo and Elites is phased out and replaced with an inferior alternate.
I’d love to know the thinking behind this decision.
