halo is on its 5th run. Many great multiplayer games have come out since halo 4 including destiny. Call of Duty titles absorbed a ridiculous amount of player base and xbox has sold half the amount of consoles that PlayStation has sold, competing for sales with the Wii U practically.
Microsoft is not dominating the scene the way it should be by now, they think they know what we want, or they’re conditioning people into accepting less or what they would rather you have.
They need to remember were some -Yoink!- hardcore gamers too.

and yet people are convinced the new revamped release of a halo (even given the cool deep story line) is going to do anything to keep Microsoft from having to throw yet another towel at a well dressed group of Japanese men.
I’ve pre-ordered halo 5, and I know it will be a game i can enjoy. But the simple fact is that halo MCC and guardians will unfortunately have a dismal amount of players compared to some of the long standing champion titles. Halo is dying and they don’t want you to see it…
Show us… show us it isn’t dying… DISPLAY THE PLAYER COUNT IN MATCHMAKING
The proof is in the numbers… pay attention to sales, and come october 27th lets see if these numbers soar… lets see if they come even close to the recorded number of north american sales that the extremely successful launch that 360 had(yes all due to halo)
the fact is they wont… so lets see if they come even close to the sales of playstation 4 in north america. which is around 25 mil right now… so 15 milion guys playing halo on there xbox one, 25 million not (because theyre on ps4) … 10 million decide to play halo(10 million people go buy an xbox one) , now theres 25 million xbox one owners and 25 million ps4 owners assuming playstation growth completely halts which it will surely NOT (considering buying a ps4 myself :S) NOW we have a miracle, NOW we can say that xbox one is a contender after all these years off getting plowed by Microsoft…and there… dongles. (remember the dongles!!!)
at this point… if people dont turn off their 360s, get the one and join in on this MCC and guardian goodness… then we’ll be left with crap matchmaking results even on halo 5, since half the people would rather get their halo fix through the MCC anyways. There are halo fans who will simply say eff it and stick to MCC
All Microsoft has done a good job at is dividing the gaming community. Halo fans that were mlg pro buddies of mine will literally say **** halo and a ridiculous number of other people as well… the rest of you guys on here don’t realize how big this use to be and how dead it is… looking at these topics and threads and posts just shows the community we are left with and how hard were gonna have to bite our tongues and just play Xbox… what Microsoft (halo) has done to gamers is ridiculous…and I’m not quite sure if they understand that they OWE YOU. Anyone who knows more than me about all the poppycock nonsense would have worded it all better than me… but maybe ive made some kind of point…
