Finally, we get a BTB map that actually plays like one. I just want to take a step back and applaud whoever created this fantastic map. We finally have a original Halo 5 BTB map that plays like BTB should. Hopefully 343 realizes that this is what a good map should look like and continue to include them with updates… Anyone else have any opinions on this map? Also, Estuary isn’t too shabby either, CTF is super fun on it!

It’s fun. I do like the remake of Valhalla a little bit more, though.

yea, Vikings is my favourite map in BTB H5. it took me 30 min. finding it in custom games because i didn’t know what they renamed it XD

Back in Halo 4, Ragnarok was the absolute best. Unfortunately Halo 5 doesn’t completely capture it, but it’s still nicely done.

They broke up the sight lines pretty well so the sniper doesn’t wreck as hard on Valhalla. I like that they’ve added the heavy vehicles back in, actually feels like the BTB heavies version from Halo 3.
Yes dispelled actually felt like a proper BTB. It needs to stay in the rotation.

Great map. Sight lines make it so a Sniper can’t dominate completely. The wasps seem like a death sentence with tanks but overall great.
Dispelled is Great! Best addition to BTB since H5 came out.
Also really like the new Valhalla!
Now all we need is few more good maps and some Heavies.
This map balances both teams really well. Also it is really a BTB, not 8v8 stuck in a cramped space like Boulevard or Antifreeze. Those map should be removed while maps like Dispelled and Viking should appear more in map rotation.
Unearthed is also really cool, it’s big, easy to get around and plays a lot more with vertical space than most other maps do. Really solid IMO.
My only criticism so far is that it would be nice if there was a little more base color distinction at the mini base locations. Often times I’ll spawn at them and won’t be sure which one that I’m at until I see a main base.
It is a good map, better than most BTB maps I’ve played. But for CTF it has awful spawns. I spawn next to the enemy flag more than my own, even if there are no enemy players near my base.

Hmm…Dipper bell, I like it! It has a nice ‘ring’ to it.
Couldn’t have said it worse, dispelled is horrible, wasps own the map, i don’t have any good gameplay from it, bring back old btb maps
