why the game makers shouldn’t block you from fully unlocking halo reach?
For one its a game & 2 its online where government like geniside by dictatorship dose not apply.
& 3 not all rules need not to apply base on their unfair assumesions. & 4 what doen’t help me is likely bad/unfair.
& 5 its not halo 2 or halo 3 where you have to have skill but also is more offendsive than halo 4’s Con’s overweighing the Pro’s!!!
Good evening
Um, I am unsure what you mean by your statement, but if you’re arguing the banhammer system on Halo: Reach put into place by Bungie, it is fair. Even though Halo: Reach is an older game, the banhammer system rightfully bans players who AFC (Away from Controller), players who heavily boost, people who hit the cR cap for a give day, and players who cheat. It seldomly wrongfully swings. People can also argue that their ‘child’ played the game, earned no kills in several matches and were banned, but between the XBL Terms of Services and the Banhammer, it still by design rightfully swung.
If you are talking about preorder bonuses and legendary edition content (Such as the Tier 3 Recon helmet, the Multi-Threat Gamestop Exclusive chestpiece, Elite Officer, and Legendary Armor Effect), they were DLC exclusives offered to players under certain conditions (Such as pre-ordering the game, getting a code card, or buying Legendary Edition), so they earned an extra little part of the game that does not affect completion as an incentive of purchasing the game in a special way.
If you are talking about the Eternal Armor effect, it was given out to players on Bungie Day 2011 by Bungie employees as a tip of the hat and final thanks to their fans before they handed over services to 343i. It was associated with the Bungie nameplate, which was also given with the FX. The Nameplate feature has been locked and nameplates can no longer be changed (As that function was never handed over to 343i), but if you did not get the Bungie nameplate that day, you didn’t get the ‘blue flames’. It was a one day thing, and if you missed out on this little DLC part of the game that does not affect completion, well you missed out.
If you are inferring to map packs, they are DLC addon content which I can understand paying for to support the company who makes such games, so they could continue creating great games. For Microsoft to give everybody all the map packs addons for free (As much as everybody would love them for it) would leave them with less financial resources to continue creating games and addons.
Additionally, there was a lot of cut content (Armors of sorts, levels, etc) that I am sure are stored on a server somewhere either within Bungie or 343i. For them to release such content would be impractical as to start, alot of it would be incomplete, not to mention an update would be required of mass Gigabytes, which would be a huge inconvience.
As much as Halo Reach is a game, the creators have their reasons for not giving everybody 100% of the game, so that should answer #1.

For number 2, I am sure Microsoft with Xbox LIVE online is not the way you described. They have rules in place to be fair to everybody. A little online regulation for a service you utilize doesn’t hurt to ensure fairness. Microsoft also controls the Halo franchise, so this would loop back to what I typed above for #1.

So you’re stating that not all the rules need a base to apply unfair assumptions to them. Well, what is fair and unfair is matter of opinion, but the rules for LIVE are controlled by Microsoft and they will control them indefinately. Their rules are their rules, which is why you agreed to Terms of Services when you created your account and you agree to them everytime they are updated. Otherwise you wouldn’t be playing Xbox, at least online.

This is matter of opinion. Also, I look at this through the perspective of DLC. I don’t see how it is unfair and/or bad that somebody might have a map pack or other DLC content that you do not because they met a special condition or paid for it when you did not. Support Microsoft then, and buy DLC content so they can continue making Halo games and addons. To kindly state this, saying what doesn’t help you is bad/unfair sounds rather selfish.

I frankly do not understand how or why game mechanics or game skill should affect “why the game makers shouldn’t block you from fully unlocking halo reach” .
Additionally, if this post is the response to you being cR banned a couple times in a row on Reach, it is a bit confusing and some people may consider it non-constructive.
I sorry the 3094 character reponse to that i just type didn’t sumet, & i’m not typing it again!
why do i even bother? it tool me an hour or two to type it. so sencerly every word in the book,
