Discussion References & Forum Etiquette

When posting in the Halo 5: Guardians Forum, there are few overall topics to discuss, but let’s cover the big three:
Lore, Gameplay and Development.
When discussing lore, it is good to first come up with an overall topic to focus on. The following examples are as such:

  • The friction between Human factions - The friction between Sanghelli factions - The friction ongoing between both Human and Covenant - Blue Team - Fireteam Osiris - The Hunt - Cortana and Artificial Intelligence; Rampancy and Beyond - The Forerunners & The Warden Eternal - Future of the Halo UniverseWhen discussing g****ameplay, just as it is the case with lore discussion, it is a good idea to have an overall topic to lay foundation for the points of discussion you wish to make. The following examples are good points to go from:

  • Human / Covenant / Forerunner Weaponry & Vehicular Arsenal - Finer details on how individual weapons and vehicles work and compare when in competitive use; situational, environments, number of enemies/allies - Customization; User and Gameplay settings - Spawning SystemWhen discussing development, it too has it’s fair share of conversational topics to go in to. Please however use heavy caution when starting a discussion of this nature. Here are some of the discussion points:

  • Audio; Music, Sound Design and More - Visual; Graphical Fidelity, Aesthetics, Environments - Gameplay; Mechanics, Modes of Operation, Accessability - Features; New and Returning; Updates and Iterations
It is important to communicate faults and issues here as the developers use this as a medium of input to take on board.
Do not engage discussion with an obvious flame or troll post.
Find and engage in positive discussion with those who have put across points that are fair and well thought out with neither prejudice nor bias.

This is a bump.
