Hi guys I have this issue and i’m not sure how to resolve it. I got a message by a bot yesterday telling me my Status was not appropriate. I asked the bot what does “status” mean and I got no answer, I later asked again what that means and again I didn’t get a response from the bot. Today the bot kicked me from the discord saying feel free to come back when my status was good? I rejoined and it banned me. Can someone help me with this “status” issue afflicting my account and how to fix it? Thanks guys!
Bots can’t respond to questions like that because… well it’s a bot. Should send any queries to any of the server moderators.
Your Discord status was deemed to be inappropriate and as you failed to change it after multiple opportunities, you were temporarily banned from the server. The ban will be up in a few days, but I would advise changing your status before you rejoin.

Hey Halo mods, On June 9th 2020, I tried appealing my ban I received. I was told to come back in a few months.
I had ask a friend to join the server and ask about the ban appeal and I was told to come here also.
This is what I was told “You posted a watermelon reaction on the Black Lives Matter news post. Bans for discriminatory comments/reactions/content are not reviewable at this time, feel free to check back in a few months.”
I actually didn’t know what the watermelon emoji meant. I reacted with a random emoji to try to be funny. I never meant to harm anyone at all or make someone feel disrespected. A Day later I received a message from the bot, telling me that I was banned. I now learned my lesson and will be more careful when reacting to certain post.

So you were trying to be funny by reacting to a Black Lives Matter post, and you just so happened to randomly emote a watermelon, which has been used to stereotype black people for decades?
You can see how that story sounds sus.

Yes, an offensive term for black people, reacting to a post about BLM is totally not racist or anything.
I honestly didn’t know what I was thinking. I had no nitro before so my top used emojis was a watermelon and a couple more emojis.
I didn’t even read the post.
After I received the ban message, I had asked my friend of what he thinks and he told me that a watermelon was offensive and I had realized what I done.
I honestly didn’t know that a watermelon was used as a stereotype towards black people and I will NEVER do it again.
I know what I did. From your side, it may look like I was doing it on purpose, but I wasn’t.

Im not even buying it dude, just try not to be kinda racist n stuff. BLM good actually.
