Hello, I was on the Halo discord,and during a conversation Imade a single comment , that the halo infinite devs are taking their time to do the game right, because if they didn’t they knew the fans would likely turn on them “This is paraphrased not an exact quote because this is what I MEANTby my comment” A few seconds later I got a DM from Gaius Cicereius+ saying I have been banned on Halo For: threatening Violence against 343?
I did not intend nor mean for my comment to be viewed or even considered a possible threat, and would like to request my account/access be Unbanned as I am a loyal halo fan.

I said in my post I was paraphrasing, But as you have read the post I made, you can see I was not making any threat against 343,and merely expressing an opinion on how the fans might react If the next halo game were to not be done well. As such I would Kindly like to request my ban th be overturned please.

As the 343 rep stated already, your ban won’t be overturned. Of course you’re saying now that you were only paraphrasing and that you didn’t mean it, but that’s to be expected after receiving punishment. The rules of the discord clearly state not to be rude or aggressive towards any individuals, communities, companies, etc. Suggesting that a group of fans–including yourself–would perform medieval torture upon any number of people at 343 as a result of not liking the game is simply not appropriate, not even as a joke. But since your saying that it’s your opinion of how some fans might react, it doesn’t sound like you were even joking all that much.

I am not saying “now” that I was paraphrasing. Its in my orginal post which was made shortly after the ban was enacted for my expressed above opinion statement. And to address your statement on how my comment sounds, sadly that is the problem with a text base system, as what we type down is merely that typed down not spoken or said with any of the multiple inflections or tones one hears in verbal speech that can make a single statement mean or imply what the prson saying it means, As a result when a personreads a text as you are now and have, often times they as they do not really know the person who wrote it automatically assume the worst and in their inner voice read and hear what someone writes in a manner often times totally opposite to its intent, and often in a negative way . I still would like to request my ban be reconsidered, given the fact that I merely made a statement on my opinon on how “Others” might react, and opinion based sadly I will say on how I have seen thefan communities of other games and the like react to the developers of games in the past few years, which I will be the first to admit makes a bad reputation for the majority of fans out there who like myself would never act in such a way.

Sorry for a second quote and post but I neglected to ask for clarification on something in the previous requests for a ban appeal and am posting it here in hopes that someone will reply with an answer/reason.
I have made my case on my appeal but wish to clarify that, this ban is a permanent ban for a single opinion based comment or is this band of a unstated by the bot duration ban. if it is a permanent ban that seems rather extreme for a single incident, I again apologize for the double posting quotes but I felt this small aspect needed clarification
And As I still have a question question I will post Again here and hope someone will reply
I am making this post to request information reguarding the ban, Ie I would like to know, is it permanent forever, can I make a request in a month, or three to make a rewust and petition to have it removed to possibly rejoin the server? I ask this as, tobe fair and honest a permanent ban for a single, and I will admit with hindsight, poorly worded opinion comment seems a tad extreme as punishment for a first and only offense, and as such I am making this post for calrification.
I appreciate the mods/343 for taking the time to read this post and if they reply to it
