Seem to be encountering a lot of disconnects between myself and friends. I’ve so far only noticed it in WZFF but it either happens in game or transitioning from the Lobby to in game. I’d say it happens 1-in-5 games if not more frequent. Between this and the REQs not loading in some games, it seems buggier then the HW2 beta for me.
My console is hardwired, as have been my friends as well. Also I’m set up for open NAT with all the ports I can ever recall being recommended are open.
Same here. Hardwired connection, highest speed my cable company offers. Open NAT. I drop 1-in-5 daily. Happens in all playlists for me, quite frustrating… (and it’s usually when I call out that sweet REQ or use a Legendary boost prior…) Also, the REQ loading only seems to work the second before the game starts so I have to be Johnny-on-the-spot with applying my REQ boosts pre-game. Quite buggy indeed.
Super annoying…need a hotfix soon
Have you checked with your ISP? I am wired, open NAT, pretty decent speed, and rarely experience disconnects in games. I did get bounced out of a lobby today, which accounts for the DNF in my record, but rarely during games.
I have been having that problem too but only when I am using a legendary boost in WZ. Any time else it works fine though. Does this happen to alot of other people?
I have been having that problem the past 2 days in all of my WZ matches. Yesterday I played 6 and disconnected from 5. Disconnect timings range from 1min to 15mins so it hurts when im in the 15min game and have called in a Scorpion. Today i have not even finished a game. Any solutions??
I’ve been having this problem since release. I stopped playing for months because of it. Came back for FF update to find it’s still happening in about 40% of my WZ matches. Extremely disappointed. though I’m not surprised. I have made multiple threads about the problem without receiving a single response from 343. Guarantee they won’t even look at this thread. Pathetic joke of a company. I’m about ready to refund this bad excuse for a game.
Yes, my NAT is open and I am wired.
No I am not using Time-Warner Cable (ISP known to have problems with this game.)
No, I do not have connection problems with any other games on my network.

Have you tried opening ports in your router or setting your xbox in the DMZ mode? What type is your ISP? Cable or dsl?
Zippy.
It’s pretty safe to rule out ISP/local hardware on this one. The variety of ISPs, routers, Open NAT, wired, and open ports means we can point fingers at 343i. It’s a good place to start but I think we’re past basic troubleshooting.
Doing a hard reset always fixed this issue for me.

There is no doubt that 343i has something going on. The question is will they fix it? I have a funny feeling that what we have now is what we get… This problem isn’t wide spread enough to get there attention.
I had the same problem for a week. After posting to this forum, I got a suggestion to clear my Xbox cache. That’s what A1tontoyota above is saying to do as well. That fixed my problem. At least for now.

Thanks Hoosier Pat, posting the details I found online below for others to try.
Xbox One
Unlike Xbox 360, the Xbox One does not have a menu option to clear cache on the console. Instead, follow these steps to clear cache on an Xbox One:
- Press and hold the power button on the front of the console until it powers down completely.
- Unplug the power cable from the back of the console so that the power brick in not connected to the console.
- Press the power button on the console three or four times. This will ensure that any remaining power in the battery is drained, clearing the cache on the console.
- Plug the power cable back into the console.
- Wait for the light on the power brick to change from white to orange.
- Turn on the console using the power button.
We ended up all doing the above mentioned “fix” last night. I didn’t have a chance to play yet but will update once I’ve finished tonight’s gaming session.
So far I have not encountered any more disconnects, might be resolved. I’ll take it as a win.
