Okay for what I think is the eighth time now that I’ve randomly been disconnected or removed the game for no reason while I had a boost active. Not only is the boost gone but this always happens in the middle or just as the game is about to finish. The last two games have randomly disconnected me and consumed both my req boosts. It’s mainly annoying but these disconnects seem to be always at the worst timing possible and I know it’s not my connection as I can play any other game with no issue. Some of these disconnects happen while I’m playing with a friend which the game literally removes one of us and put someone else in their place immediately. It’s like the game is just like “Alright this guy can just find another lobby, here you go random guy”.
I love the game but this should be looked into as it just discourages playing the game because you know your just going to get removed at any second.
Also sorry if this is in the wrong section, I’m new to this forum and the layout is different than that of which I’m used to.
Well it should use the boost. Otherwise if ur running a Uber rare or leg. And having a bad game all you would have to do is unplug… thus you get your boost back.
If you get disconnected due to bad connection, then yes, you lose the boost. However, if you get disconnected due to a problem with the game server, you DO get the Boost back, it may not be instant, but it will be refunded to you(I always get mine back when the gameserver takes a dump).
This is as the nice dog above me says, else people would just pull the plug in bad matches to get the most out of their boosts.

I’ll have to check back later then, I lost two boosts early due to a random disconnect. I didn’t know that they had something in place for this; good job 343i lol thought of everything.
It could be, I hardly ever experience disconnects. I recommend going wired with an open nat. I had great wifi, but would randomly get disconnected. Wired fixed my disconnect issues.
Yesterday a friend of mine got kicked out of a match and when she checked her router, she had been pinged out of the match. Several IPs pinged her repeatedly until she DCed then stopped. Next time that happens check your router to see if you have any funny business going on.

She also stated that every time she randomly gets kicked she sees the same thing happening so maybe this is the real problem.
I have been disconnected a handful of times over the last couple of days not due to bad connection. I sympathize with you, as I lost a couple of req packs. I’ll need to go back and check to make sure I got them back. Either way, I’m sure it will get patched.

Don’t be sure anything will get patched. The game still crashed opening packs or even the menu. I still get kicked for no reason and lose all my boosts. I think it’s on purpose to increase playtime.
