So i guess they never plan to fix these servers.
Today ive been kicked (disconnected) twice out of matches. If this keeps happening will i be banned? I would be furious if so…
Do disconnects count as a quit? Can i be banned due to them having awful servers?
Excessive disconnects will lead to a ban.

If I leave one match the next match regardless I get disconnected post game and banned… I have a temper problem but as soon as I leave 1 match it’s game over and if I go to custom games and quit a match after the ban starts it almost triples the ban time right then and there
Yeah I got kicked today and it shows DNF. Same as if I had decided to rage quit. It’s ridiculous.
Yes they count as a “quit” by the server.
If you are talking about “failed to retrieve the post-game carnage report” then those will show up as win/loss on waypoint BUT still count as a quit by the server too.
The system is unable to differentiate between a quit and a disconnect. Even if it could it wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between a disconnect and someone pulling the plug on their router. Just the way it is.
It’s enraging because I was playing a game, we were getting destroyed 66-100 and since I had an xp boost I stayed and finished. But after the “winning team screen” at the end of the game happened it says “disconnected” and then I get my second ban of the night because of this. Then to top it off, I can still access the post game stats and am still awarded my xp and req points… So half of the game thinks I quit while the other part of the game awards it as a game completed. BROKEN AS HELL! Idc if people unplug their routers to “disconnect” instead of quit it’s stupid that a disconnect results in a ban.

Yes, because how are they gonna tell if you disconnected, or you turned off your modem

I hate this so much. I have 2 friends i play with mostly and one of us gets a ban from the server disconnects at least every other day. We all have second accounts because of it and none of us quit purposely.
What really sucks is that we just get booted from the game yet we never get kicked out of party chats. Its literally the halo 5 servers.
Yes it does, i have fell victim to this 3 times in a row i was having a bad day and i got disconnect after first ban then second then third. Its a huge problem
I’ve never personally been banned after a disconnect, but any time I quit an arena match I get a ban for 15-30 minutes after my next game. I think both can result in a ban but the amount of disconnects before a ban is higher than that for straight up quitting.
And btw, just cause you feel like the disconnects are all the servers fault, doesn’t actually mean they are. There are a lot of potential reasons for disconnecting from a game, even with a boss internet connection and solid servers.

I can agree with the server part, but having a -Yoink- internet can definitely affect the gameplay experience of others in a negative way.
