Disconnections From games, With no Disclaimer

For the past week I have consistently been getting disconnected from games within the first 3 mins. Yesterday I was only able to complete 1 game out of about 10, and even then I was disconnected from the server after the game and I got a ban. These disconnections count as me quitting the games, and after it happens about 3-4 times I get banned. I have a good internet connection, open NAT, and I didn’t have a single problem prior to when Infinity’s Armory came out.

When I am disconnected there is no disclaimer at all. I’m just brought back to the playlist lobby. Then after it happens a few times, I get a Banhammer Strikes screen which just tells me how long my ban is, without any reasoning (as far as I’m aware it usually says the reason for the ban such as betrayals). The latest one was 58 mins. Consequently, these games are still saved on my service record, and my CSR has drastically plummeted due to these disconnections which adds to my frustration.

I do not understand whats wrong, especially considering I didn’t have a single issue at all a week ago and nothing has seemed to change. I am posting this to ask if anyone has experienced anything similarly lately, and if they have been able to find a fix? I am in NA, central time. As far as I can tell, there shouldn’t be a problem on my end, but I have no idea due to there being no disclaimers to why I’m disconnected.

Sorry for the rant, but any help or insight would be appreciated.

I don’t have a solution but by any chance, when you get kicked or disconnect, does it show your status in the bottom right hand corner as offline? I have a similar issue and it has only been on this game.

As of now, no. I’m still showing online and it shows which friends are online also. Sorry to hear your also having issues, hopefully this can get patched or something soon.

This has been happening to me too, exactly as you describe, and only since the February season started. Constant disconnects. Never had a problem, and I’ve logged more than 100 hours in Slayer since launch.
I would really appreciate some acknowledgement from 343i that they’re aware of this, just so I know it’s being worked on.
I’m in Toronto. Great internet. Nothing’s changed on my end. I’ve reset my router, cold reset my xbox. Nothing helps.
I just keep posting about it. And now I record each disconnect and post it to my XBL Feed.
So people see I don’t quit. What’s up 343? Did you change anything in the matchmaking? In the netcode?

Exact same thing… Drops out of game after a min or 2… Or drops me right as game is loading… Never happened prior to February update. I dropped every other swat match tonight… Yet I still have full internet connection and I’m able to retain party chat… It’s on 343’s servers end… I already called my isp to confirm… And also I’ve tried direct wired into my modem, but it still drops… Please address this… Love this game but it’s starting to frustrate me

oh and I don’t quit games. Never, I don’t care how bad it is… I take pride in that… Any and all dnf’s on my record are disconnects… I’ll never quit a game.
