The game do that to you sometimes when the players are awful like you. They disconnect you right away since you were gonna lose anyway.

Tried both. called cable and internet company first actually, but it works fine when i play other games so I don’t know. I kinda had to quit playing…hence the name.

I’m finding that the game can’t cope with as much latency as other games (I presume due to the number of units amd attributes it has to keep track of). Unfortunately this means if you get by in other games you just lag out in HW2.
Would definitely recommend wired connections to help beat that, but the lag sadly is sometimes stronger

Just to update, if 343 is actually paying attention to this. I’m actually having a tech from our internet provider coming to look at this. I’m hoping it’s something to do with our modem set up or something. At the beginning it was only quitting in Halo Wars 2, but now it’s begun to quit on other things too. Hope hope hope this is the issue. I don’t want to rag on this game, it’s a blast. I just want to play it. If they can’t solve the issue I guess I’ll ask Microsoft if I can somehow get my investment back.

This really sounds like it is on your side. I have not had any problems neither has my buddy. I used to have an internet connection that would lag intermittently and it took a year to fix. It was a problem with the lines outside or something. I had to call the cable company 5 times. It took until a tech came that actually cared and really knew what he was doing. Also, because the problem was intermittent the techs would not see it because it wouild not happen all the time and it was a small blip. Enough to lag me out of a game but not enough to drop the connection from say a computer (entirely). Hope your issue gets fixed but if it is happening in other games and not happening to most of the community (as far as I know) it is probably on your end.
