Whenever I complete a game on the anniversary gamemode, I disconnect right as it ends, and to My suprise I get banned… for 23 Hours. Thanks 343, for making such a game.

That was your ban being implemented, not the cause of your ban. It takes the game a short period (usually the length of a match) to catch-up and implement your ban. So you will ‘earn the ban’ play another match; be disconnected from the servers; then receive the ‘banhammer strikes’ message. Please address ban related concerns in the thread linked in my signature.
You don’t get banned for just 1 incident. You might have either quit or disconnected from previous game.

If you are having connection issues. try a hard reset before playing halo and also make sure to use a wired connection for your Xbox. you have quite a few DNFs on your service record so you may have connection issue or are quitting and blaming “disconnects”.

I don’t know much about wifi and I am having some problems with connection because I am living with 5 people with over 30 devices on the wifi. Is wired connection different from wifi? Do you have a video showing how to set it up?

As you can see, My newest game says defeat, yet that was the one I was banned on, quite frankly, being a jerk doesn’t help anyone.

I don’t think he was being a jerk, just being helpful.

All I can say when I am at home I use a wired connection, use a CAT 5 line directly from router to the Xbox and I never disconnect. But when I work night shift and take my Xbox to work where I have to use a jet pack from Verizon and the Xbox is then on a WiFi connection I do occasionally disconnect, which btw I haven’t received a ban because I don’t quit games the disconnects are few and far between.

a wired connection is an ethernet wire from your router to your xbox. There is a plug on the box similar to the plugs on the router. This game is very unstable on wifi.

Actually I was being kind of a jerk. These threads are a dime a dozen, and they always end up the same. Someone who claims they are booted for no reason, but a quick look at their game history proves there’s a reason.

You were being a justified jerk.
You need to do research on connecting a cat 5 to your xbox… how the in world did you get wifi set up.
I have 3 teen age kids and all their streaming… and since we moved to the country I am on a 3 mg dsl line… I still don’t drop. Laggy as … when they are home. But still able to play without dropping.
you quit games a lot it looks like. looks like you could have been reported for quitting any of 4 games before the one you mention and it just took a game or two to kick in.
One time I had the power go out on me ten times while in a match, and was not banned. When I first got into the game I did quit once, and only once. Habitual quitting and disconnects will get you banned. From what I’ve seen, the banhammer is working fine. As others have said, post here.
