Disconnected. Robbed of REQ points.

Whenever a new update comes out, I begin disconnecting from Warzone matches without warning. No error message or lag, I just get booted. This is especially frustrating as I get 0 REQ points or XP, even more so when I lose a boost because of it. 15+ minutes of playtime and I get robbed of my REQs, REQ points, XP and time. It must have happened 30-35 times since launch, if we say you get 2000 points per game, I’ve essentially been robbed of around 60,000 REQ points! 6 Gold packs!

Fix it! I need compensation!

Get a better connection…try using an Ethernet cable…

It’s not my connection.

When ever an update comes out I always always hard reset my Xbox after if. If I learned anything about the Xbox one is it is finicky and needs regular hard resets. Also yes it is best to use wired connection

Hard resetting regularly is good for any machine. It wouldn’t surpise me if this is the issue, because I’ve never had a problem like OPs and I don’t have my Xbox on “Instant On” So it’s hard reset every time I turn it off.

I hard reset every time

I only got booted just today lol but only once

I’ve never actually disconnected from a game and I usually get 20-35mbps

I get it a lot too. Has nothing to do with connection. Just to be savfe just hard reset and even give the console a few minutes. Though for me it still happens regardless. I’ve lost a lot of those high tear RP Jackpots and boosts because of it. I had it the other day with my friend in my party, 987-458 was the score with us winning, then it just cut off. Really frustrating.

I often lose connection to warzone games for no reason, I have an open NAT and there in no other traffic on my router. I just now got banned for 10 hours because of a “poor connection” to the dedicated servers. The rules however state that bans happen for the following reasons:

What counts towards a ban?
Generally, players are banned for repeated demonstrations of offensive behavior, cheating, or unfair play.
Examples of unacceptable behavior include:

  • Violating the Xbox Live Terms of Use - Violating the Xbox Live Code of Conduct - Cheating or “griefing” (intentionally ruining the fun of the game for other players) - Manipulating network performance to improve your online performance or degrade another player’s - Skill, EXP, or credit boosting, habitual quitting, sitting idle in games, and other unsociable and unsportsmanlike behavior - Impersonating a 343 Industries or Microsoft employee on Xbox Live - Playing on a hacked or modified console or profile
I have not done any of these things and a “bad connection” is not listed here as a reason, so what the fudge is this!?!?

Buhu, it happens to everyone… I stopped counting the amount of legendary boosts i burned due to connection issues… stop whining and connect your xbox with a wired connection instead of wifi! It helped me a lot!! As for the warning…what do you expect? A “WARNING: DISCONNECTING IN 3…2…1…” kinda message? It’s not like connections issues are predictable  As i already said…as soon as I switched to a wired connection I never had any issues what so ever!

343 should add that if you don’t click leave and you leave the game down to lag or this glitch you get however many req points you are owed from however long you were in that game.

DO NOT USE WIFI!! Use a wired connection instead!! It’s more reliable!!

And how about those guys who’re going to pull of the power supply of their router or the ethernet cable from the xbox just to get away from a bad game? Trust me, there a a lot of a**holes out there

Firstly, it’s not my connection. Secondly, why should I buy a 30ft cable just to connnect my xbox to my router, plus all the hassle to hide the wires. Thirdly, I’m not whining, I have the right to be pissed off because I’m being robbed of my rewards.

This happens. All you can do is do your best to prevent this from your end.

Believe me it sucks. The other day I had a long run of being on random teams and losing big time for a long streak (2 hours!). No complaints about that- I play mostly as a random and it comes with the territory. BUT I was in a game and we were finally winning when MY POWER WENT OUT FOR ABOUT 1 SECOND. Lost my XP boost, all the points I built up in the battle, etc. Sucks…but happens.

Hmmm…maybe the Power Company can owe me points?

-Yoink- happens

happens to all of us, you will never get a refund, certainly not coming here anyway and proving it wasnt your connections fault etcetc

dont waste your energy on it…

Just because you might have google fibre with 1000mb/s downrate, doesn’t mean your xbox can benefit from it. As for WIFI vs wired connection, wifi has always downsides due to slower transferrate and slightly higher chance of loosing data packages… If you’re not willing to step up your “internet game” by wiring your router to your xbox (which is understandable) to prevent such things…well then there’s nothing more to say… -Yoink- happens… as I already said it happened to me countless times as well and I’ve lost many many req-points and legendary boosts…to say you were robbed is simply not true…it’s bad luck nothing else!

That’s what I was trying to say ^^

I found wired vs wireless to not be the problem either, I had it wired through most of my disconnections. It’s their side, every other online functionality for other games and Xbox live in general usually working fine. No way around it until they fix it. Sad truth
