NO LONGER WORKS ONLY TEMP FIX
the issue is back it was only a temporary fix. Now its occuring in matchmaking RANKED Slayer and shotty snipers as well. I need a game developer to help me try and fix this on their end. If they cannot I need a refund.
This morning I started to finally experience the disconnected from server error so i did a bit of troubleshooting.
Things that had changed for me before the error occured.
- had reset router so had a MODERATE NAT
- had joined a Spartan Company
- had a different IP Address
how i resolved the issue was as follows.
- made sure i had an OPEN NAT
- Left my Spartan Company
- Changed my ROUTERS DNS from 8.8.8.8 (GOOGLE DNS) to my local providers DNS which means i just set it at 0.0.0.0 and had it automatic. google dns are 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
- HARD RESET Xbox one to clear memory Cache
Have played 3 war zones ina row without a Disconnect, from previously getting DCED every single match.

Hello I’d like to state that I am experiencing the exact same issue I do not have time Warner cable and I’m going to copy and paste the description I’ve been posting on the forums the fixes also DO NOT WORK FOR ME ANYMORE
I would like to note just for proof of “checking your internet” to be a soltion this is a wide spread issue I myself am also unfortunate enough to have it ever since launch I can get maybe 1 game in sometime before I disconnect from arena it’s been this way sinceaunch and being the halo but I nut I am I tried everything just for note if 343 is watching I called my ISp changed from a static back to a dynamic, then no change.I reset router to factory settings, no change. I ran internet straight from the jack to Xbox one , no change I then removed the preview dashboard from my console… Which factory resets removing all content and then ran the same tests again… Still no change. I am very sad 343 ease help me my internet is optilink and I have an open mat I hope this mames
ot somewhere to help cause I’ve tried literally everything on my end 343

I’m from the UK and since Fridays update I am also lagging out of games, I start the game, get to play for around 2 minutes then get disconnected.
please share this topic link into other forum topics so we can get more attention to this.
I contacted microsoft support team and they said they were willing to give me a refund if i could get 343i to say that is fine. I have not played anymore halo since i have put the ticket in, as i do not want them to see me playing and think i am just fine with this. Because I am not. I am nearing a ban from matchmaking due to receiving strikes for disconnecting!
I suggest you guys also do the same, contact microsoft support and open a chat with them. They should allow you a refund if u have had the game for 5 days or less.
Alas its been more than 5 for me so I have to go through this longer process.Hope this helps you guys

This disconnecting is getting out of hand it started disconnecting me maybe 1x every 3 matches now i cant even finnish a match ive lost so much req cards and req points. I’ve tried everything hard rest called my internet provider changed my dns sever, made sure my ports were open new wires from modem. To router to xbox.its the games sever 343 some support is needed asap
