Normally I’m quite a quiet person but after a 3v3 where we’d beaten two of the enemies and both my teammates had left, I had total map control and just the last base to take out. They were (yapyap) turtling hard in their shield with blisterbacks and dont shoot me. It was fine I just kept pouring in banshees, when as their base was almost gone my screen freezes, yes another disconnect and I get given the lose. It sucks that if you have this it is treated as if you’ve resigned.
The dc penalty is too severe
I just disconnected in my last 4 3v3 games… people incredivly mad at me… Gonna play tmw to see if goes better. I have good speed connection, dunno understand this

Yes I think it is, I don’t know if the systems could recognise a dc as opposed to a resign but either way the penalty in ranked is too high. It has happened to me several times and it’s getting irritating, the worst thing is it mostly occurs just as me or my side are making a big push on the last enemy base or two. You’re in the situation, in the winning position and then “brrrrr” stupid noise and screen frozen, you know you’ve just registered a defeat which should’ve been a victory.
It’s unreasonable how high the penalty is for a DC coupled with how frequent DCs are and how little CSR you get for a win. You can go on a 10 winstreak, gain ~40ish points, and have a whole night of grinding wasted because of a single DC. I’d have no problem with a large penalty if a DC was an anomaly, however I’m lucky to get 5-6 games off without one. Other games don’t have this problem, very disappointed in the support and lack of recognition/care to address this, makes ranked play hard to get in to.

I think that the DC penalty should be reduced to a normal loss, if I loose to champion 1 I’m not going to loose 40 points off of my rank. I also think that there needs to be the ability to get back into the game, other games have that ability why no this one? I understand that it’s not a champion going back to spawn or anything like in LOL, however I think that if it just recalled all units back to main base and don’t have any unit production. It would make lag outs, especially in those late game senariors when your team is winning, not as bad. It is something that you can be having a great day of halo wars, and then one lag out and it just puts a horrible taste in your mouth
