So the past couple of days I’ve been enjoying War Zone with no issues, as well as the occasional Arena match. All of a sudden today, I got randomly disconnected from the game with no error messages or any warning back to a “psuedo menu”. From here I can open REQ packs, look at my Service Record, and even Customize my Spartan, but it won’t let me back out of the menu. Since I’m stuck in this “psuedo menu”, the only way to exit is to quit running the game entirely, or turn my Xbox One off. This first happened in a War Zone match, so I figured there might be something wrong with the matchmaking there and tried an Arena - Big Team Battle match. Not even 3 minutes into the game and it happened again with no warning. I’m now afraid to play Halo 5 because I’m not sure if I’ll be penalized for “leaving” the game. It has nothing to do with my connection as I’ve gone through thorough troubleshooting and can play other games online with no issues. Please let me know if there’s anything I can do to help resolve this issue.
This happened to me yesterday as well. The only solution I am aware of is to restart the game. Thankfully it happens rarely.
