My friend and i keep disconecting after a few mins of gameplay.

My friend and I get disconnected when we play Co-op at the cutscene every time. Then when we try to load in again our screens go black during gameplay, except our mini map. MCC all over again!
Folks - thanks for posting about your issue. While we can’t troubleshoot every problem people are reporting, our test team is monitoring these threads and it is helpful to identify potential issues. Please provide more information to help us out - what platform are you playing on? What exactly is happening? Is there an error message? What steps in-game are you taking that results in this happening? What region are you in?
Obviously the experience you’re describing is not normal nor expected - many players are playing online without issue - so we’d like to figure out what’s causing this to happen to you.

I’ll add my experience as well. Randomly on mission three the game will kick me out of co-op nothing particular causes it. It’s kicked me during a fight with the ai, when my units are just walking to a location and when I’m building. It’s always random as well. But before it kicks me my game will freeze completely except for audio while my partners playing then 30 seconds later I’m kicked. Also I’ve checked my nat type and it’s open and the router for my wifi is acting perfectly fine and no other device is having wifi issues in my house.

Are you playing on Xbox One or Windows 10? Sounds like you’re playing Co-Op online?
I seem to keep having the same thing, the game starts and the FPS and connection look horrible, followed by a lightning fast “catchup” if you will then I get kicked out. And most of the time my friends I am playing with report that someone on their team also gets the boot.
We are playing on Windows 10 and we have attempted ever 3v3 mode possible with the same results.
On Xbox one just repeatidly keeps connecting and disconnecting on the main menu screen, Aldo happened on the blitz beta

I keep getting disconnects when I am trying to play the multiplayer any mode on xboxone…Game is starting and after a few seconds of playing the game freezes, sometimes it is unfreezing but most of the time I am getting kicked out of the session. Next message that is following network issue, you have been disconnected from Halo wars…blahblah
Seriously I have paid for that extra days and i am not able to play the multiplayer because of that -Yoink- disconnects and nowhere is a solution to find…
343 saying that they cannot support halo wars 2 (Please note: The 343 team is unable to provide product support for Halo Wars 2.) you should go to xbox.com, neither they support halo wars 2, they say you should go contact 343 - are you kidding me?
Waiting for a fast solution or I want my money back!
While Blitz Beta i think server was a lot better than full game :’(

So…to sum up the first few hours of the games release…
Campaign is meh with a bit of alright mixed into it.
Multiplayer doesn’t really work and if you even think of inviting your friends to join you…you’ll get disconnected.
Blitz is fun but can’t see it hving tonnes of replay value, Strongholds is just a numbers game BUT…
The game does feel pretty smooth and looks great.

I 100% agree all he -Yoinking!- does is play with his -Yoinking!- -Yoink- all day after a hard days work doing -Yoink- all and taking a good -Yoinking!- from his dad when he gets home for being -Yoinking!- useless at his job.
I’ve been disconnected 6 times in a row now… this game or server is a joke please fix this issue, when I’m in the middle of a match on multiplayer it freezes up and disconnects me. also sometimes when the match starts when the base is building / loading up it will freeze there and just Automatic disconnects. that’s not the only issue when inviting friends to join it too disconnects, As a reminder I’m playing on Windows 10. now my Win / Lost ratio is terrible because I don’t just disconnects from the match but it also counts as a lost! so please if you can reset my stats and check this bug / issue.
there is no Error message so it just disconnects, you can also reset my rank It doesn’t matter but I want this issue resolve so we all can play this game we spent $80 On for the Ultimate edition and so we can play early. give us our money worth please.
The Issue has accrued in many game modes, Stronghold / Rumble , Solo 1V1 , 2V2, 3V3, Co-op Multiplayer, and even in the loading screens when inviting a friend. on Windows 10 Operating system. Great Graphics card and Computer and high speed internet. my internet and wifi is perfect so it must be the server as I’m not the only one having this Issue.

Playing on Windows 10.
After playing for a few minutes the screen just freezes and i get booted out of the game WITHOUT any error message.
And sometimes the game conects/disconects 20x in a row when in the menu screen without me losing actual internet connectivity.
I’m located in europe and the conditions are just plainly random.
Reset the stats when you fix the issues.
All of my disconnects have been immediate.
temporary solutions:

End the game when you’re teammate leaves/disconnects withing 5 to 10 seconds of the game. No loss counted.

Not have games count as losses when they aren’t even a second in length. Games that are 00:00:00 in time are clearly a d/c, isn’t there a way to detect that?
I’m playing the game on pc with a friend in co-op mode. 50% of the time my game freezes ( I can still go to the main menu but can’t click anything ). This only happens to me and not my friend. Doesn’t matter what game mode we do. On his screen it says I get disconnected. ( Don’t get any errors or messages )
