Disc not working in xbox one??yet??

I may be mistaken but I thought I’ve seen it say Halo 4 was released backwards capability on Xbox One and I go to put in my disk and says it’s not working and it’s also not on the most recent backwards capability list either. Has it not been released yet I could have swore said it was

Not been released yet OP. The DLC map packs have been made freely available to download, but the games themselves won’t be available for a few weeks yet

The current theory is that the games will be BC in September, for Halo 3’s tenth Anniversary.

Yes, as long as everyone on both sides has the DLC then the maps should show up in rotation.
