I just bought Halo 4 and installed disc 2, but when I tried to install disc 1, it said the disc was unreadable. Then I just tried playing it without installing it and it loads up until the 343 industries logo then it stops and says disc is unreadable.
The disc looks flawless and my other xbox games work fine.
Can anyone help?
343 are having all sorts of problems on their end. Just wait it out.
There was an option to install Disc 1? I installed Disc 2 and put disc 1 in, and started the journey. No MP only Campaign, servers are down…
I just bought the game half an hour ago and can’t get past the initial 4 screen and it goes black and tells me disc is unreadable. Currently installing Disc 1 and will update hopefully if it works.
Imagined how impressed I am right now.
After installing Disc 1, the game now doesn’t even load and tells me the game cannot start. Try downloading the game again. Pretty sure this may be a hard disc problem of mine.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
It’s something you did or your hard drive, only Disc 2 was designed to install to the hard drive.
if you know someone that has halo4 then borrow theirs to install it, aslong as the game is recognized youll be able to play it until you can take it back to the store
Only Disc 2? Didn’t catch that part at all. Pretty sure is doesn’t say “don’t install Disc 1” on the disc.
So is it campaign/multiplayer for each disc? Which is which?
I am having the same EXACT problem as Bipolar. here is my link to my thread to show the things i have tried that havent worked. The only thing that works is when i play the game with the hard drive out, but then i cant even go online.
I am not buying a flash drive to play this game, plus i heard it doesnt even work.
