I own the game like most people do but I’m so disappointed in halo wars 2 but at first I wasn’t doing really good cruising through easy and normal then the disappointment started to set in on I had bumbed it up heroic now before I start raging (I get it’s supposed be difficult) but your freaking kidding me right i have doing the same freaking misson for almost three freaking progress one bit and to honest i’m starting to get extremely ticked off it takes me five minutes just to kill just one banish covenant that’s if i’m lucky otherwise I get slapped around like a freaking ragdoll while the AI get rapidly replenishing ground troops when I gotta wait for almost 15 mins. for my stuff to get done o and not to mention while the AI becomes even more smarter your forces act like complete morons your forces attack if the enemy comes in to the line of site without you giving them any orders to do so the so called archer missiles have either barely or no effect to the AI at on heroic or higher your spartans randomly get stuck on stuff that isn’t even there and way to move the is spartan slam which i had to not once but three times so yeah in my opinion halo wars 2 was the worst 60 bucks i ever spent WHICH WOULDN’T be happening ever again if halo wars 3 or any other halo game comes out i’m down right refuse to buy it … THANKS 343 Industries for halo franchise and destroying the halo series for me i deeply enjoyed the halo series since I was a teenager and I am now 31. 343 you guys ticking off your costumers to the they stop buying bungie did a way better job with the halo’s not to mention they have a system in place to actually hear there fans instead of being stuck up it all if i had choose between bungie and you guys i’d choose bungie every single time but your rather care more about your stupid profits then actually hearing from your costumers and GOD FORBID if the costumer has to get hold your company in case something goes wrong with your game i’m done o wait 343 your PATHETIC ok now i’m done

agree, halo is dead now, this game had the potential… but it is dead

Git Gud. I did campaign legendary solo first playthough, only failed three missions first time around (the two defences and mission 11) and my first game of Skirmish I got the self destruct your base on legendary AI’s achievement solo.
Also, a few Lols: Bungie didn’t make Halo Wars 1. Ensemble studios did.
lol 2: 343 didn’t make Halo Wars 2, Creative Assembly did.
lol3: Bungie actually charged you more for DLC then 343/CA did. Halo wars 2 season pass is 15 quid with Halo Wars 1 remaster included (if you buy Ultimate edition, UK money). Halo 3 had over 20 pounds in DLC, wars 2 had DLC with considerably less value, can’t remember if cost over 15 though, reach had map DLC as well and ODST didn’t even come with multiplayer or patches for firefight.

Legendary is difficult for sure especially since I didn’t play HW but I’m one mission away from completion.
Beat is on Legendary the second go around, first played it on Heroic. It is doable. and a fun campaign look up tips and hints, spead out your army to not be able to be destroyed by banished beams and cyclone bombs

You blame 343 to be the worst thing in the world because their game is hard? Yeah it’s hard but that can be fixed, you’re just Yoinking! on them like everyone else does, for no reason! Yeah, the game needs a little more polishing, but what’s not to love after that? The campaign satisfied me greatly, the cutscenes, the missions, the multiplayer is fun, engaging and there’s always room for me to get better, the game looks fantastic, AND there’s more coming.
Dude, Halo 5 was one game, maybe you just don’t like RTS, but one way or another, this is art, and one I’ve been waiting for for years. You can argue why it’s not what you wanted, but attacking 343 because you miss Bungie is not the way to do it.

your complaining because the game is to hard? R YOU F****** SERIOUS…For the love of god people, give your kids some dicipline…this world is getting out of control with the amount of whiny, ungrateful, crybabies that want everything given to them…your not good enough to beat it on heroic, so what, stop whining, practice to get better and keep trying! my god im sick of these posts
I don’t mean to sound like an -Yoink- but I doubt you’re 31 with how you typed that post. English isn’t even my native language and I had difficulty reading it.
Now, I’m not going to bash you for your ranting, but rather I want to help you, I can give you tips that’ll make you complete the campaign and hopefully enjoy the game a lot more, I had my fair share of frustration with the game, but 343/CA responses have been really satisfying.
By what you’re explaining it led me to believe you’re stuck on the mission “Under the Dark” the one where you have to setup the kodiaks (a great mission that resembles Under the Belly of the Beast and that mission from HW1 where you had to setup the Rhinos).
This mission will take around one hour if you take it slow and safe, this is what you want to do:
Build 5 snipers. The rest of your population use it on Kodiaks.
You want to do small jumps, advance with your Spartan/Snipers while your kodiaks at the back will shell them to bits. Since the enemy has no sight of your kodiaks they can’t beam them. They will however beam your snipers, but it’s just 5 guys, you can replace them quick.
Try and capture all the power nodes before going to capture the minibases. Once your population is maxed, recycle the garage and build a resource building, you need to hoard as many resources as you can so that when you have an armory you’ll buy all the upgrades.
Rinse and repeat until you reach the enemy base. At that point swap your snipers for marines and it should be all you need to complete the level.
