Today I logged in to play and my avatar looked different. I noticed my FOTUS gear was all gone while playing a game. After the game was completed I had leveled up and all of the FOTUS gear (and other cool items) were shown as rewards that should be available to me to wear.
So I went back into the Spartan Armor section and tried to put back on my FOTUS gear and it’s still not listed as an option available. Neither as locked or unlocked, it is simply missing from the list of armor.
I’m on the same console (Limited Edition Halo 4 Console) that I’ve always used to play since launch. Has the armor been renamed or is there some new issue that makes it vanish for no reason?
I’m going to try re-downloading the items from the marketplace and see if that fixes the issue. Will update this if it does.
(Update: Re-download and re-starting Halo 4 seems to have replaced the missing gear. I guess…uh…nevermind!) =)
Once again all DLC seems to has disappeared leaving me without my proper loadouts, armor choices, etc. I’m glad you say it’s something you’ve noticed as an issue, but please fix as soon as possible. I turn my Xbox 360 off every night, the content was downloaded correctly the first time (and all the other times), but this issue only seems to happen when you update something.
Also, it continues to show an unlock for most of the DLC (but not all of it) when I complete a game and earn experience. But it doesn’t give me access to actually use any of that content when I try to re-apply my armor, loadouts, and tag stuff.
Please fix this as soon as possible, because I don’t really feel like playing when I have to exit the game entirely, search through my download history (which gets longer every day), redownload a bunch of DLC, then go back into the game, reset all my stuff, then try to play again hoping it’s actually there this time.
