Was really hyped for this game, went to the midnight release, got the console, got home and was literaly shocked at how much they’ve screwed this game up. The lobbies kick me out randomly, i get slameed in the face with a facefull of boltshot around every corner, invis snipers on ragnarok are a joke, if i even look at a scorpian or mantis it gets blown up, by jelous teamates! and theres no more skill in recovering weapons e.g. sniper, rockets, as you now just have to really on the luck of ordanace drops (aside form the start of the game) And to top it off the campaign was literaly about the most boring story ive ever played. And the ending was just…awful. push these 3 swithes then play out a button pushing cutscene. Halo died with H3. The only good thing about this game is the maps i guess. They’re no guardian or pit, but they’re inventive and different. Is anyone else disapointed with this game?

But now I realize that only I can get myself worked up and only I can make myself unhappy. I bought the game, and now I’m going to tough it out. Even though I felt like they “stabbed me in the back” with Halo: Reach, I think they’ll (343i) come around.
Wow you took a long time to post this considering you decided when you got home after queuing for midnight launch that the game sucked.

Still better than armor lock bloom reach and hide-and-seek COD though.
Yes 343 dropped trou and squeezed out a cleaveland steamer on what was left of custom games. This has seriously killed the longevity of Halo 4 for me.

Interesting.
In general, I’m disappointed, but I prefer it to what else is around at the moment. If it were an Infinity Ward CoD year they might lose me, and that’s sad to say for a Halo game, but it’s OK as it is.
Needs work though, and they NEED TO COMMUNICATE WITH THE COMMUNITY more than anything else.

Hey guys I bought the game three months ago and have been playing it complaint-free since but I woke up today and thought, “hey this game is disappointing.”
Why do people compare it to CoD?
Have you people tried Battlefield3? It is far superior to both Halo4 and Cod!

Battlefield 3 is far better than both, but no one i know plays it. The reason i got this halo was that all my friends got it aswell. And to answer you above smartass, i dont play that much xbox anymore so unlike some i havent been playing it straight for 3 months. therefore havent actauly had the chance to have a good go at it until now. Dearie me.

Perhaps it would help people to stop playing the multiplayer like a Halo game, and trying to play it like a completely new game.
Sure, we all love Halo, but it’s changed. A lot. Not bad, just changed.
If you didn’t have any experience with Halo 2/3/Reach, and played this game, I don’t believe half of the people who complain would be as bothered as they are now.

It’s not my fault 343 implemented one gun to rule them all. Just one of the things that removes all skill from this game.
And if your going check my stats why not look and see how long it’s been since I’ve played this game. It’s too easy and bland. I like many others had to move on.
It’s fun to come back here and commiserate with the other fans that realize this new developer is clueless and killing the franchise.

How is that a fail? Thats a win for me indefinitely! I used to have a rule on Halo 3, if your not rank 45 or above and youve got the sniper on my team, you getting betrayed. Same applies with scorpians, as they take alot of skill to manouver around the edge of the map. If anyone sees me online and im on your team, be weary before eyeing up that mantis or sniper. And dont foget to send me hate. I LOVE IT.
