Disapointed

Didn’t you learn anything from bungies mistakes? People don’t wan’t blurry graphics, armour abilities, bloom etc they just want simple graphics and gameplay that made halo one of the greatest online games ever made. Jetpacks do NOT work in any halo map so why the hell would you put them in anniversary? You better not ruin halo 4 by trying to make a game apeal to people that play the other 3 shooting games because that failed miserably with halo reach. Just look at the number of people playing it the past few months and compare that to halo 2 in 2006 or halo 3 in 2009.
btw make sure forge mode has a option to change the terrain because i’m tired of seeing green, grey and blue in every single map.

It always baffles me the sheer magnitude of selective memory people have over Halo 2’s multiplayer.

i sort of agree but not really. its just you sound like a little kid when you talk like that.
and by the way its halo 2 ,2004 and halo 3, 2007 and i kinda like the jet pack in some of the maps.

1: Anniversary’s Maps have Vanilla Reach Counterparts (Prisoner/Solitary) so that is why there will be Armour Abilities on those maps. The Anniversary Playlists will not have Armour Abilities nor will they have some of the features that some dislike about Vanilla Reach…

2: 2007-2010 is the timeline between Halo 3 & Halo: Reach. Call of Duty 4 grew in popularity and Modern Warfare only seeked to appeal to its audiences. Some of the Halo 3 Players intergrated to Call of Duty’s Franchise whilst others remained on Halo 3 for their dislike of Halo: Reach. Halo: Reach however has a still powerful fan-base even when Call of Duty had titaned over it in the Multiplayer Aspects…

3: Armour Abilities work in ways that turn a regular sandbox into a varied one. Some people like it when the scales are tipped on even favour such as no Armour Abilities at all and teamwork prevails but many others love the chaotic nature of the abilities. These are just the opinions of others. The maps have been made to suit the use of Armour Abilities…

4: I would rather not have Halo 4 to be exactly like Halo 3 & 2 but I would prefer it if it kept the same feeling that Halo has given us tthroughout the years…

5: Disappointed…

I really hate seeing posts like this, it drives me nuts.

I hate to see such a thing, when a person thinks they have the right to demand that something should or should not be in a video game because they don’t like it.

While your idea at the end about the changable terrain was good, the way you wrote it annoyed me, suggest all you want, but to outright demand it is just ridiculous. 343 has their own ideas that I am sure are going to work out brilliantly.

And Halo Anniversary has Jetpack/Armor Lock/Dropshield because it runs on the Reach engine.

It doesn’t matter how I word this post they won’t listen anyway I just wanted to tell them how I and many others feel

You would be very surprised, they read every suggestion people post, obviously a few are going to be missed or ignored from time to time, that’s inevitable, but ask yourself, if you were in 343 and you saw this post, would you take any notice?

Don’t look at it from your POV, look at it from their POV, they like well written and worded arguments.

I love the enthusiasm you have, but it does sound a little bit demanding. I guarantee they will read this at some point, they rarely post anything though.

I just want halo to be as fun as it used to be. I played 1000s of halo 2 + 3 games and I tried hard to enjoy reach but I only managed a couple of hundred and I really thought 343 would scrap atleast the jetpacks (because you are at a extreme disadvantage if you dont use one) after a majority of people complained about it and stopped playing.

How about you post your suggestions in the Halo feedback thread. They read every post in that thread.

Exactly, they may even consider your suggestion if it’s well worded and backed up with lots of information. I’m pretty sure they have already got a good picture of what the Halo community as a whole wants. Now they just need to come up with a way how to make it possible so that as many people can will enjoy it.

Replace People and They with anything that involves You b/c what YOU want doesn’t account for what EVERYONE wants.

This comes off as very demanding and whiny. Not insulting you but if you’re going to make a “suggestion”, you should do it properly to be taken seriously.

And stop blaming Bungie. No Bungie - No Halo. Period. Just b/c the developer…you know, the people who create/craft and design the game how THEY envision it, doesn’t mean they’re adamantly pushing fans aside. It’s their story/game. Let them tell it/create it. If you don’t like it, I’m sorry but it sucks for you then.

People expect to have their little part in everything nowadays since internet forums became vastly popular. Nobody is appreciative for what they get anymore. Saddening.

I think the problem Bungie had, will be the same problem 343 is dealing with. How do you progress and move a series forward without feeling tired or feeling like “the same old thing”

Halo CE was awesome, and Halo 2/3 just tweeked it enough to make the game play perfect. Reach started to branch out, and try new things. I’m not a fan of the new things, but I’m a big fan of Reach. I don’t blame them for trying.

With Halo 4, 343 needs to keep it simple. Give us an amazing Campaign, with a great story, jaw dropping sky boxes. As far as Halo 4 multiplayer, it’s simple. The maps make the multiplayer. Have great maps, and keep them coming! Release map packs every 2 months, keep the player wanting more all the time, and delivering.

ORBITAL DROP FACENUKETACULAR

CEA MP uses reach’s multiplayer, the classic playlist already features no AAs and will most likely feature most if not all the TU changes and classic maps, so you don’t have to play games with jetpacks in if you don’t want to.

/orbital drop facenuketacular

If you don’t want armor abilities then play the classic playlists that will be released with CEA. Problem solved.
Also wait, blurry graphics? Are you talking about the Ghosting?
