Disabled Friendly Fire?

Hello Waypoint, this may be a little late, but I actually noticed something. I was watching some Halo 4 News from Ducain23 (here’s the link to the video: Full Game on Haven + Commentary!!

At about 3:38, the player with the Rocket Launcher fires a rocket, hits his teammate but he doesn’t get betrayed unlike in Reach. That got me thinking for a minute. Is it possible that 343 have disabled friendly fire for matchmaking? Or his it that his teammate took partial damage?

Please watch the video and tell me what you think.

Thanks for pointing this out.

Friendly fire looks to be disabelled in this video, as the rocket definantly hit his team mate smack bang spot on.

I am aware that anything may change, but i think 343 deided to prevent loss of team mates from booting and those stupid 7 year olds who continue to shoot at you, causing you to have low health followed by death.

I thinks its a good idea, and ill be glad if friendly fire wasnt in matchmaking, because it annoyed the -Yoink- out of me when someone stepped in front of my sniper as i shot, which caused me to get booted.

But i definantly agree, Friendly fire wasnt in that video

I dont mind betrayels friends of mine and myself have got kills with the sniper through a team mate so I dont really mind them.

hmm not to sure i like this…not sure i hate it i could see why they might…

but its a big change, so i hope this isn’t the same for all playlists…

grenade spamming, sticking your teammate with the sticky grenade or detonator would get cheap and stupid cuz his kamikazi wouldn’t even kill him…

i vote no on this 343!!!

So incredibly old.

FF was merely turned off in the E3 build (which this is taken from) to make it idiot proof. Friendly fire is still in Halo 4.
