I would just like to say that there should be an option to disable Ground Pound. I’ve been killed by accidentally entering Ground Pound so many times. I jump to melee someone and I hover because I’m in Ground Pound. I try to ninja someone and I hover because I’m in Ground Pound. There’s an option to turn off Auto-Stabilize (which also killed me), so why not an option to disable Ground Pound? It’s cause so many rage moments for me and I could do without it. Hell, I don’t even need Ground Pound.
Maybe discipline yourself so you don’t accidentally do it anymore? The reason auto-stabilize can be toggled is because it’s automatic. YOU are the one that pushes the button for Ground Pound. That’s like disabling grenades because you accidentally hit the button for it. If you happen to hit ground pound and you need to cancel it, you can thruster pack out of it.

Yes, but I push the button to melee/assassinate, not Ground Pound, and by the time I thruster pack out of it, it would’ve already been too late because I’m right next to the enemy.
I agree. 343 should let you customize Spartan features that you like and don’t like. Ground pound should be an option. I’ve tried jumping over ghosts and trying to Melee the driver and I enter ground pound or worse I keep tapping melee and nothing happens.
You shouldn’t “just have to get used to it” because there is an issue with it anyways. If they wanted you to use the ground oound then they should have just done what Call of Duty did and make it the crouch button to ground pound.
Ive noticed there here is a delay on tapping the melee and a delay while trying to sprint.
However, when tapping the trigger to shoot and aim, there is no delay. There are obviously bugs in the game.
It’s a stupid 343 add on anyways I’m not even calling this game halo it’s Crysis Reamped to all our buddies since we been in halo 10+ years lol.
I know a way to disable it, all u gotta do id double tap the melee button 
. U wont get the ground pound, i founf oit this glitch by myself But a con thing about it is that most of the times u will get beat down then assassinations
