That’s the neat part, you don’t.

But there should be an option to disable it.

I think you can for big team battle. This is the beta, not the final game

PC players are going to be absolutely thumping console players with the current controller aiming.

Seems like at the moment there is no way to Disable, however, I’m sure 343 will give that option soon since there is already a ranked display for console and PC so fingers crossed for those who don’t want to deal with PC players aiming advantage

Input based matchmaking seems to be exclusive to ranked play at the moment, which is very unfortunate.

I 100% agree I have an Xbox One x currently stuck at 60 frames per second even though you think it would hold up okay. But you know exactly who’s on PC when they go 40 and 3 and have an accuracy of 60. I’m not sure what all the frames per second are on everything but I know on Xbox one it’s 60 s and x it’s 120 and PC I don’t know if it’s cap. But it’s extremely frustrating especially the way the aim feels getting constantly four shot of Spawn has literally killed this game for me.

You can still get PC players in ranked. Even with the controller solo input. Next time you go into a ranked game you can go to recent players and you can check to see who’s on PC usually there’s one or two. Cuz me and my friend was getting frustrated because we were kept constantly dying buy a PC player going 30 and 3 in a flag game.

I spent a lot of time in those menus looking for this before realizing what was happening.

I’m trying a console based solution where in the Settings menu, I turn off cross-play, but I’m not sure if that cuts off PC as well, as I could see Microsoft considering that the same ecosystem.

WE NEED THE OPTION TO DISABLE CROSSPLAY. And I hope 343i can make a better solution

I agree with the thoughts here.

You can disable cross play from Xbox menu? I have but I have not checked if it actually works.

I’m a halo fan since the first halo. My Xbox actually came with halo 1 =). In the past year I’ve been playing warzone and stopped mainly because of PC players - Better performance and hackers.

I‘ve never been so excited to play halo since halo 3 and what does 343 do? No platform optionality!! Even MCC has this option. It has both input and platform optionality.

I just don’t understand why would 343 would support the concept of one platform having advantage over the other, even if is a slight advantage - it’s still an advantage

PC players can play at 240 and now days up 300 FPS (and way more feasible in upcoming years) and console players are cap at 120 FPS (and it will stay at 120 until a new gen). Is that fair in competitive/ranked games??

Looks like this is the new free-to-play norm and eventually we are gonna have to buy a computer - at least competitive gamers.

Supposedly that doesn’t work for Infinite. =(

Sure except that doesn’t work since platforms like PC can involve cheating. What’s to stop someone on PC cheating? so I can start a match and have someone using things to give an unfair advantage. 343i need to give option to turn off cross-play in matchmaking. The way it’s handled has made ranked unplayable. Bad enough that they removed radar.

I’m a PC player who uses controller and have no major issue in MP. I can still do really good or just mediocre. I don’t see a huge issue with the M+K vs Controller.
I do think controllers need just a little more aim assist though!

Have you tried mouse and key? Then you wouldn’t see an issue…lol

it doesn’t. I’ve disabled crossplay at a system level, and it considers PC and Xbox as the same ecosystem.
