I agree it should be an option but is it that bad? The beginning of the flight was hard because they have the benefit of easier aim but once I got to the controls down it was usually in my favor or even.
Please, or at least let us opt out or opt in.

Once they take us PC players away, I think you’d be surprised to learn that it’s been the console players outgunning you all along, with the grand theft auto aim assist. I’m not hating on the aim assist, it is strong yes, but you definitely need it in Halo. We PC players miss way more shots than you make it out to be, don’t believe me? Try it yourself, and tell me you can hit people crouch spamming, and side strafing your pupils into oblivion. Most PC players use controller anyways. Why would you want to downsize the player base on a game that we all love and enjoy, that’s already being overshadowed by all these other major franchises?

There is no aim assist on controller, the aim assist is built into the guns. That’s why he’s complaining, because keyboard and mouse players have aim assist on, an already more precise device.

Its just a well known fact PC players are objectively better, we’ve known that for at least a decade that why all the E sports at the highest level use M&K. This coming from someone who prefers to play console. The best PC player will always beat the best console player. Most games have the ability to turn off the crossplay feature its pretty standard at this point and not a ridiculous ask.

Comparing 2 completely different play inputs, skill sets, is a far stretch to say they will always win.
Isn’t it going to be input based? I’m all for crossplay if it’s input based.
Devs will never be able to please everyone, but for example the Master Chief Collection was destroyed by aim assist. The player base (from the PC side) either lost interest or got a controller.
The devs want cross play, they want it to be free, they want the most massive player base they can farm. So the in-game purchases are large in numbers increasing cashflow. Ruining the game for one side of the cross play or the other, will only hurt the game and company as a whole.
Things will probably change over time, but they need everyone to be middle ground happy at the very least for maximum cashflow.

I’m not saying they will always win. I’m saying on average one input method is at an advantage in a game where one of the big draws is everyone is on even footing.
Look the console build is more stable, if anything you have the advantage right now
