Is no one else bothered by aim acceleration? For me it makes controller play nearly unplayable. Some of this might be a little confusing so I hope I can express this properly.
Aim accel and Maximum Input Threshold can only be reduced, not removed completely. I just want to be able to have a consistent speed to my aim. Aim acceleration is an option in virtually every FPS. Even with fully reduced Aim accel and MIT, the gradual acceleration affect is still extremely noticeable. Not only that, but reducing those options alter the actual feel of the sensitivity, to the point where even x10 y10 aim sens is extremely sluggish.
Thus, it would also be really nice if you could increase aiming sensitivity to go beyond 10. Personally, I like to match the sens of my x and y axis to feel the exact same. However, the x axis is 1.3-1.5 times faster moving than the y axis. This is typical of FPS games, but normally I’m able to adjust them to feel the same. In MCC i played with x7 y10. In Infinite, it is impossible to match my axis speed ratios or even get them close, so increasing the sensitivity limit would be a godsend.
I’ve spent literal hours configuring and testing my controls in this game to feel as good as possible, whereas in MCC I set my sensitivity and never touched those settings again. Please, at the very least, give us the option to disable aim accel, it’s such a no brainer considering the plethora of available settings.
Let me know what you think, and please don’t be a pedantic -Yoink!-.

I had issues aiming but I asked around and someone suggested what’s in this link
H ttps://www.reddit.com/r/halo/comments/rahcve/whats_the_best_controller_sensitivity_settings_to/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
Yes, I was trying controller today and I would likely to be able to crank sensitivity to more of an 11-13, 10 feels too slow for me. I would still probably use a low aim-accel for 180s though. Regardless, I agree with this suggestion.

So, I know you’ve seen it but for other readers I also have a topic about aim acceleration here:
https://forums.halowaypoint.com/t/please-give-option-to-disable-aim-acceleration/20074
I also have a topic about the (still) missing sens.-setting for 2.0x zoom:
https://forums.halowaypoint.com/t/still-no-2-0x-zoom-sensitivity-slider-for-controller-wow/37716
I also want to point out that in the eyes of 343, the term aim acceleration has at least three meanings:
- The concave/convex of the aim-response curve.
- The increase in sensitivity over time (Not sure if this actually happens on the inner 90% of the stick).
- The zone close to the end of stick deflection where sensitivity has a spike/peak to allow controller users to turn faster.
As previously mentioned, I humbly suggest we bring this up politely via formal complaints here:

Nothing will change without many voices.
Obviously I 100% support this topic

I followed the link on your thread but it just brought me to the main page and wasn’t sure where to navigate from there. My understanding was that the forums was the proper avenue for feedback. Are you suggesting I make a support ticket? Similar to a bug report?
Yes, Apologies if I was unclear. I mean we all need to file support tickets about the aim acceleration issue and the issue with the lack of sens. option for 2x zoom (Commando rifle).
I believe it helps to be very specific about what we’re talking about so that’s why I included different definitions of aim acceleration in my previous post.
I’m not sure which link you were unable to use. The link to one of my threads (Can be searched for) or to the support site? The support site is available in the menu in the top left on waypoint website. At least in desktop browser.
